he may be a good composer but i'd hardly say he's a genius in that respect. Singing is def easier than composing. And I feel he was a bit condescending in his comments...just my view..

I didn't say he's a great composer.I agree that composing is more difficult than singing, but both require musical talent. You need to be a musical genius to be one of the greatest singers. To be able to compose well on top of that is testament to his musical ability.
