I have played both the PS2 and XBox 360 version. At first I didnt realize I bought the same game (I had gotten the PS2 version when it was still new). At first I was upset and thinking of returning the XBox 360 (why keep a game you already own) but I soon changed my mind after playing it. The graphics, the realistic players make it feel like a new game. The only thing that reminds me its the same game is the title and the modes

naaa its not better, it was just had better graphics but was a lot easier. The pitching stick, throwing meters, and living rosters are what makes 2k9 better imo.

yeah, but its better than playing the show. plus they cut down on the homers if you play on a harder difficulty. I don't like the new pitching interface, so i change it to the original, which is with the circles.

Actually I like the Show better. MVP is still king. But for recent MLB baseball games, The Show has the crown IMO. MLB 2k7 is another missed opportunity, nothing more.

It's a great game with some nice features, a good franchise mode, and good gameplay, but there are a lot of annoying bugs and glitches. Hopefully they'll fix that stuff for next years version.

me and my friend looked at the replays of this game and did plenty of zoom-in's and were amazed by the graphics. when the batter is hit, he shows pain. the jersey's move. you can see the impact of the ball to the bat. the fans dive for a home run ball. when a fielder catches the ball, you see his mitt close, unlike other games where you just see the ball land in the mitt, and the cut scenes are awesome.

this is by far the best its great today it rained in the game and they called the game in delay and then called it back on.. thats what i am talking about that is the true meaning of what is in the game in the game! its awsome just one glitch i found last night but hey thats games for ya but its bang for your buck
