  • what did sagat do @ 2:56 ??

  • @lilcaam1 "angry scar"

  • Man that TIGER KNEE SCAR WAS CLASSIC!!

  • Rocka my baby on the tree....... TIGER UPPER

  • why doesnt daigo play on a PS3???he is japanese for gods sake!!!!!!

  • @jubox666 because competition on PS3 isnt as good as Xbox

  • @justmayne well asian people are better at fighting and mmorpg games...thats common knowledge...we know that asian and mostly european ppl preffer ps3's so how can western ppl be for him better chalange than japanese and korean prodigys...i dont underestimate western players,no way,but asian and mostly japanese were always street fighter fanatics

  • I can defeat both with Dan before breakfast! After that I... I... I can defeat Tiamat, Venger of Dungeons and Dragons and Macgyver, that it! BWHUAHUAHUA!

(Before someone try to kill me, its just a joke)

  • pure fireball shits

  • nice end to fight sagat ^ ^

  • 1:02 - Bonchan should have used high kick instead of uppercut.

  • The Ex Fireballs were clearly an effort by Daigo to change things up...maybe he knew Bonchan knew too much about his gameplay...

  • that hadouken pressure in the first round was probably one of the most entertaining things i've ever seen lol

  • Comment removed

  • first round looked like daigo was using super turbo ryu with those fireballs in the corner lmao

  • Nerd fights.

  • why such long comments?

  • sorry. this is post 2 not 3. u quoted someone who said daigo was best sf player since its beginning. and u responded with momochi being the best at start of sf4. how is that even relevant to what he said? he was talking about sf2 ST, not sf4. its even worse than what i said, so its double standards if its ok for u and not me

  • Bonchan is so good. This was like the pacquiao/mayweather of street fighter. Great stuff!

  • Whoever says that Daigo isn't THE best street fighter since it's beginning should PROVE otherwise. Fanboyism aside, this guy has REPEATEDLY pulled out Dramatic finishes. When? In tournaments, when the reward is 50k or similar. Executing that Chun-Li parry, when it counts, says it all. We judged Michael Jordan theeee same way. Greatness shows up, when it counts.

  • @dupree82 That's because Daigo has the poise [wisdom] to realize it's just a dang video game and no reason to get worked up [nervous] over a useless activity. That's what seperates him from the rest. As we have seen there are players with much better execution and skill than Daigo but he is fearless.

  • @dupree82

hes only the best in SF4. and that was months after the game came out due to Momochi being top. he was shit in 3rd strike compared to the other guys (RX Kokujin Ruu Vanao Kuroda MOV Ino Rikimaru etc...

  • @Chaldean4life91 momochi was never top at the start. mago was top 1st, then daigo, momochi and a few others caught him later on. daigo wasnt shit in 3s. for the time he played it, he won more than most of those players you named who still play it today. didnt he OCV kokujin and KO to win SBO in 3s? if he was shit how did he win the biggest event for 3s beating 2 of its best players? he also beat kokujin at evo. sure those guys might have been better but he was not "shit"

  • @yahoo1o1

lol @ Kokujin and KO being the "best " at the game. they were closer to being better then Daigo but they werent the best. Kuroda was 1st then MOV then Ino. then a whole bunch of other players then those guys like KO Daigo etc... and Mago was only rated 1st after he beat Daigos BP rankings which took months after the game came out. 1st place was Momochi for a time as stated by Rikimaru in an interview (who btw is also better then KO Kokujin and Daigo as well)

  • @yahoo1o1

i agree with you that Daigo was not "shit at the game compared to almost everyone else. but when it came down to the top Jap players Daigo wasnt that good. he was probably average. maybe shit is not the word i shouldve used but you get my point. and him OCVing in one tourny doesnt really prove anything. lots of people have OCVed great players in tournaments but on average get shitted on by those very same guys

  • @Chaldean4life91 dude 3s is old school. before kurado ino and mov, it was kokujin, nuki etc. which is why i said when daigo played, he was up there. and kurado was in the sbo daigo won. explain that. those players became #1 after. momochi was never #1. he leaves far away from daigo iyo and mago. daigo went to nsb and owned momochi and his area, the clips are on youtube. min0ra made it look like they had sets & momochi was winning but this is not true. at one point you see 13 wins by daigo's name

  • @yahoo1o1 momochi is great, but those vids vs daigo overrated him. at the start of all 4 games u see "x wins" next to daigos name. like i said they lived to far to honestly say who was #1. daigo also won cooperation cup at 3s. his wins are there. at his time period in 3s he was up there. he has beat all the so called best at his time. people just hate because his daigo. KO was 1 of the best easily, MOV came way later. you are confusing the years badly

  • @yahoo1o1

im not confusing the times badly, im just stating all the people that were better then Daigo in 3rd strike. i dont even know why you mentioned a time line. no one cares about Daigos reputation at the start of the game of 3rd strike, because everyone was new to the game. it became interesting after players like RX Kuroda Thanatos etc came along during SBO4 and up. plus if you can find me a vid of Kuroda and Daigo playing even 1 match on 3rd strike, i'll shut my mouth.

  • @yahoo1o1

they may have played a bunch of times but theres no video footage from them. and like i said Momochi was top at the very beginning of SF4. Rikimaru even said in an interview that he hates SF4 because Momochi is too powerful. if Daigo was better im pretty sure hed say otherwise. later on it became Iyo Daigo Mago Inoue Nemo Joe etc...that were the top players. i dont hate Daigo but im not a fanboy either to say that he was the best at 3rd strike. give props were its due.

  • @yahoo1o1

btw one more thing i realized. its KURODA not Kurado. just thought id let you know

  • @Chaldean4life91 you were not just stating all the people that were better, you said daigo was shit compared to them. thats what i responded too cos its not true. me mentioning early 3s is like you mentioning momochi, early sf4, so why is it ok for you and not me? who cares about sf4 pre09? but still thats not the case cos you said sbo4 is when people cared. for your information daigo won sbo 5 when all the so called best were around. a shit player cant win sbo. it takes too much skill to do

  • @yahoo1o1 that (fact). daigo haters hate the fact he's won the biggest competition in 3s, they either never mention it, or downplay it. he won cooperation cup with all the best players from all areas. i understand you hate daigo fanboys, but thats a poor reason to deny him cos he was amongst the best when he played the game. also kurado wasnt considered THE BEST during sbo4 timeline, niether was MOV(fact). its only later on they surpassed the rest. so your statements about daigo, KO etc is wrong

  • @yahoo1o1 hence why i mentioned the timeline. ALL of these guys were considered amongst the best @ that time. momochi's from nagoya. not every player/city shares the same consensus(tokyo). thats just the opinion of 1 player getting raped. as for the name kuroda lol. i knew it wrong. you didnt have to emphasize to correct me, i could have typed his name on the search. big deal, i know just as much about him as any 3s fan. with that said, have a good day man, im not trying to spam this video

  • @yahoo1o1

and once again for the last time (hopefully) watch the interview with Rikimaru. he openly admits avoiding SF4 because of the fact that Momochi is too strong. i'll send you the link if you want. and this was CLOSE to the same time SF4 came out so like i said Momochi was top at the beginning of SF4. then came Daigo as top then Mago. you may not agree with Rikimaru because his 3rd strike player teir list is way fucked up, but he did say Momochi so...

  • @yahoo1o1

i can understand if you dont want to comment anymore because you think its spamming the channel. i feel the same way so if you want you can send a last response then thats it. i wont bother commenting back even if i have a viable response. this isnt really a youtube arguments (like some other kids on youtube swearing and stuff), but still its getting old so lets just end it and agree to disagree.

  • @Chaldean4life91 @Chaldean4life91 wow i havent read all that but right away you are the one putting words in mouth. fchamp being better than daigo... 1st of all i did not say daigo is better than anyone in 3s, where did that come from?? im not here talking about who is or is not better than daigo. im saying when daigo played 3s, he was considered amongst the best. his resume shows this. the only ones who dispute it are his bitter haters. he quoted someone who said daigo has been the best sf

  • @yahoo1o1 riki is just 1 person from aichi. what he says is diff to what someone in tokyo says. that doesnt mean momochi was best. lets see what the tokyo players say. there are vids of those players (RX) beating daigo, like u said it doesnt mean they were better(fchamp). its a random video. we've gone over the same points. you are right and i am right. ok it was a good debate, i just dont want to have viewers read comment on this and not the video.

  • @yahoo1o1

like i also said im not a Daigo fanboy but i dont hate the guy either. i have to keep repeating myself because your putting words in my mouth that i did not say (except for the Daigo=shit part). and th reason i mentioned early SF4 was because it was a reply to someone else. my original comment was about early SF4 and prime 3rd strike. you came in mentioning timelines of early 3rd st rike that i did not, so yes its ok for me and not for you (since i started the debate topic).

  • @yahoo1o1

read my comment again. i specifically said he was shit COMPARED to players like RX Kuroda etc... i admit shit was not the word to use for Daigo (more like KSK) but you got my point. and you also misinterpreted what i said about SBO4 AND UP (Kuorda was one of those while RX was better then Daigo from SBO4 along with Match and spellmasterJ). and once like i said winning one tournament does not mean hes better. FC Chanp beat Daigo in a tournament it doesnt mean hes a better player

  • Hadoukens actually have recovery

Not that I complain about either

  • People complain about Sonic Booms but never about Hadoukens...

  • bonchans sagat makes me wanna main sagat again..oh well

  • @That1sushidude me 2

  • Best win I've seen.

  • sagat stylin at the end

  • The end was pure sex.

  • epic

  • this matchup is probably worse than in vanilla and even worse for ryu for AE. smart of daigo to switch characters

  • @monkeypower your a bloody retard for actually thinking that SUPER NERFED sagat is better then vanilla sagat.

    Seriously, think before talking.

  • @mjnecho uh sagat's u2 shuts down on ryu's fireball game. It's already hard to get in.think before typing pls

  • @monkeypower hes right. He's bein a punk about it, but he's right.

  • @Theocrooks I find it funny that you guys look at tierlists at say this matchup is not worse without any explanation. Failures..

  • @monkeypower lol. back up bro. I didn't say anything about tier lists. I was merely commenting regarding what you said about the matchup being worse in super for ryu, than it was in vanilla, which is incorrect. Sagat got quite a bit of nerfs in super whereas Ryu stayed relatively the same. Troll.

  • @Theocrooks So basically you said nothing about the matchup except stating Sagat got nerfs. So much fail.

  • @monkeypower dont be rude. and read the comments. Either you are not reading, or you just dont understand. This isn't a battle. This is extremely straightforward. Here's u- "this matchup is probably worse than in vanilla and even worse for ryu for AE. smart of daigo to switch characters". I could go into more detail, but if you speak english, I shouldn't have to go say any more than this "Sagat got quite a bit of nerfs in super whereas Ryu stayed relatively the same"

  • @Theocrooks so basically you said nothing again because you know nothing and have nothing to contribute. Just leave. Sagat's nerfs do not affect this matchup as tiger knee pressure could've been stopped by standing jabs and his u2 lowers the fireball rate from Ryu to build meter. What do you have to say? You basically still said nothing so fuck off retard.

  • @monkeypower stop bring rude ok. It's childish.

nerfs matter. plain and simple. If you dont see that, then that is the end of the conversation.

Tiger knee got nerfed also. U2 does not necessarily lower the fireball rate either. It can be hard to react to a fireball. And Sagat doesn't always have U2 so dont forget about that. If you dont believe me, then go ask someone else.

  • @Theocrooks haha wow you sound like a pure scrub. So you're saying its HARD to react to a fireball and thats why this matchup isn't that hard. No one cares about your grandpa reactions. And tiger knee nerfs do not affect this matchup. It could've been easily stopped by jabs. It only eased some matchups such as Sagat vs Vega. So in the end you do know nothing and you wasted my time.

  • @monkeypower being rude= childish. get it? grown ups control their mouth.

Maybe everyone that you play sf with just throws fireballs, but its not always easy to react. If Daigo, DAIGO, thought it was ok to throw a fireball, it's because there was enough depth into the match that he didn't ecpect Bonchan to react to it. Get it? Tiger knee nerfs do affect it. They arent stopped as easily in vanilla.

  • @Theocrooks Jab. Jab. Jab. Jab. There you stopped a tiger knee in vanilla + there are also many other ways to stop it. Besides if a ryu was being pressured constantly by tiger knees in vanilla, obviously the ryu should stopped playing the game.

And you are comparing people I play with to Daigo? We're talking about matchups here. If you compare Daigo's Ryu to someone of a closer level's Sagat or w.e that would make sense. He didn't expect Bonchan to react to it?Well he got read...daigo or not

  • @mjnecho be nice about it tho eh?

  • @Theocrooks Sorry , but i can't. Not someone who goes by the name "monkeypower".

I mean , is he a fucking saiyan?

  • @mjnecho you never know. . .

  • @mjnecho Can you leave this. You haven't contributed anything leaving me to think you're the troll.

  • any other known MASTER class players besides daigo and tokido?

  • daigo is grade MASTER lol not A but MASTER

  • SHUT UP! you morons, none of you know wtf you are talking about, damn man.

  • this sagat has a ton of points for only 1200 fights. then again I spend so much time in endless

  • beasted!

  • its still .....

    World - 62

    Daigo - 8231

  • heh heh caught the beast slippin

  • oh and that angry scar to tiger knee was style at its finest.

  • @davidphaight It's Daigo, what's with you people and your "his friend" theory? He's known for taking lots of risks, and normally it pays off. The intimidation factor lets him get away with a lot of stuff. But lately, people are catching on.

People who can play like this don't grow on trees.

  • @OneLoveJK Daigo isn't the best gamer ever.

hes just a good one who parried a chun's SA(I'd like to point out hes not the only one to do that)

I still respect him because unlike his fanboys,Daigo understands that he himself isn't invincible.

  • @HolyMafiaLeader Well Daigo is the most accomplished gamer ever in street fighter to say the least. The fact that noone else is as successful means that he consistently wins more than everyone else. Sure he isn't invincible, nobody is, but nobody wins as much as Daigo does in SFIV. Not really sure how else to look at it.

  • Is there video 1 0f 2 for these matches. I couldn't see in the list.Thanks anyway

  • @misugijun nevermind I found it.

  • LOL wow 0:52 how do you throw 10 straight fireballs

  • @heavyarms39 Only if you're Daigo Umehara

  • not too much hadoukens by daigo....

  • angry scare ending

  • 2:56 "The Beast" got Beasted. Beast ^ ^

Bonchan even did an uppercut boost and Tiger Knee to add insult to injury xD

    Fav'd

  • @LightningBS ACTUALLY he did that Angry Scar to fuck up Daigo inputs in case he recovered already and tries to jump out.

  • Comment removed

  • First Round; No fear by Daigo. Dude is just crazy ... just walks up to a Sagat then follows it up with a cr.fierce ... bravery right thuur got to admire it xD

  • Loved the ending

  • Would love to see Sunset and Daigo go at it

  • I'm happy daigo lost.. he showed too much confidence and made more mistakes because of that

  • @desiredkabal Could be but do you think Daigo was bothered about that match? If it was Daigo then just by that performance it looked like that he was just have a relaxing match up. Not all great gamers have to play seriously all the time.

You sure you are not a little bitter with Daigo's popularity and proven gaming performance? Hmm.

  • It would have been more epic if Bonchan EX Tiger Uppercut after the Angry Scar there at the end.

  • Bonchan, u just stole my heart :D Srsly, mago should go and suck Bonchan's d!ck by now !

  • This Video proves that there are still few SAGATS who are ready to give Diago's RYU a Tough Time.

    Thumbs up.

  • 0:21 RARE FOOTAGE OF DAIGO ACTUALLY USING TURBO! >_>

  • @Majern77

That's not turbo, that's the Japanese finger.

  • Its just natural that daigo recieves a lot of criticism. 1 thing people need to understand is he has to keep his style fresh and his opponents on their toes. He is the MAN to beat so his weaknesses and habits are going to be examined by other top players. Even if he has lost tournaments, who has won more than him?

  • in some instances, Bonchan punished with tiger uppercuts. I think he's still workin' with the vanilla mentality. Amazing Sagat non the less

  • Bonchan - the worlds new best Sagat

  • sick ending... its crazy how much sagat usage dropped in ssf4 i almost forgot hes in the game

  • Nice ending and use of meter at the end of the match by Bonchan. I miss these Sagat vs. Ryu matches since they aren't that frequent anymore, especially by such high level players.

  • @KOMHoy Yeah I agree missing "high level" sagat ryu matches :P anything other than high level is fine missing out in action

  • Woo bonchan is back bitches

  • lol.. like the way he did the angry scar after his ultra connects.

  • stylish.

  • sexxy ending

  • bonchan has great counter hit pressure.

  • Tiger scar bit was epic!

  • Whoever says Sagat isn't in the top 10 character list for Super can go burn themselves.

  • @toge64 I play sagat and ken and i say that so yeah

  • @toge64 a lot of people shoud burn themselves since he's not in the top 10 in most of the latest tier list ^^.

  • @cocofachpopov He should be, its just no one is using him to maximum potential at the moment. He'll be back on top soon.

  • @toge64 lots of character are not used to their maximum potential, doesn't make them top 10 ^^.

Doubt he'll be back on top soon (maybe after the AE who knows, if he's got buffed...).

  • Great fireball pressure by Daigo at the end of round 1.

  • Ending was awesome.

  • daigo used to beast against sagats in vanilla but it seems like he has lost some matchup experience now

  • 0:50 - 0:59 wow daigo playing SSF4 like he played ST. also i have to say i dont like the way daigo, as of late, has been wasting his EX bars on random fireballs. prevents him from FADC - Ultra if he hasnt got bars

  • @yahoo1o1 you don't understand how zoning works if you think he was "wasting" his meter on those EX fireballs

  • @Tk421WTF well look 2:31 he is out of meter for dumping 3 EX moves. then the round is over before he knows it because he doesnt have the threat of an FADC into ultra. i understand zoning perfectly, and daigo never just got rid of 3 EX bars so quickly, for little to no damagae at the start of a round. he paid for this a few times at godsgarden online too

  • @yahoo1o1 Maybe its not Daigo. I mean he does share that account with his friend you guys know that right?

  • @Jayybumm are you not aware of the godsgarden online tourny going on?? of course its daigo, they have the league table and everything.

  • @yahoo1o1 The EX hadoukens are to net knockdowns. Despite having an invincible uppercut, Sagat isn't that great when knocked down...hell, being knocked down period is a bad position.

  • @AzuroMasurao i wasnt talking about this match. i just noticed lately daigo has a tendency to just throw out these EX moves, randomly, even against Ken, who has a great start up DP, not just sagat. it leads to him having no meter and the round still having ways to go. ultimately when he needs an FADC - ultra, he cant perform it like we are so used to seeing. it so happens his been losing a lot of tournies lately, maybe its a valid point?

  • @yahoo1o1 he lost 1 tourney. 1.

  • @ActionFrank9 no, 2... i am talking GodsGarden online aswell. are u not understanding the point i am making? ive seen him lose a lot of matches lately because he has no meter. mainly at GGs online than even SBR. he has lost 3 1st to 10s in a row now at GGs

  • @yahoo1o1 I realized that he was using that EX fireballs too much lately too. It is good to see I am not the only one bothered about that. It seems almost waste of bars. Before some time he generally used to spend them for FADCs, supers, poke EX tatsu - fireball or EX fireball ultra traps. And at this match 3 ex fireballs one after another maybe he is just experimenting but I don't like this play style of him.

  • @yahoo1o1 Also what tourneys did he lost? I can't keep up these tourneys nowadays even what event is happening or happened? Can you name those? Also GG is gods garden but what does SBR stand for?

  • @misugijun SBR is Seasons Beating5 Redemption. Gods garden online is finished now. daigo was beaten early in sbr and he also didnt perform to well at the teams exhibition. to be honest at the teams event he didnt look like he was serious, but in the main tournament he played well, it just didnt work out for him

  • @yahoo1o1 It's casuals, he can have a bit of fun doing it.

  • @joojy ggs online is not casuals

  • @yahoo1o1 Oh, I thought you were referring to xbox live.

  • I love that ending so creative, this is a great find :^]

  • That was really sloppy Daigo play. Good match nonetheless!

  • @NorieagaHDR lmao you only say it was sloppy because he lost

  • @GoGoGadgetLAG

No. He was walking forward way too often, could've eaten tiger knees and shots. He also performed very risky combos without hit-confirming enough, such as j. FP > cr. FP > SRK. BTW - you can play sloppy even when you win.

  • i love how daigo keeps the pressure with fireballs in the 1st round
