Meh, the best leveling spot comes after you recruit jessica and reach the port city. Fight till you get a group of those bells, fight them but leave 2 alive. Then just psyche up until they call for help. The dragon monsters they summon are a whopping 75 exp each, and if you have 2 bells or something (preferably 3) they summon them once every round. Just make sure you kill the dragons in your first turn because their firebreathing attack is LETHAL if used. You can get 500+ exp in 5 mins like this

You can get a lot more by putting 4 points into Yangus's Humanity and get Whistle and use it over and over again on the bridge by Farebury and a monster battle always happens.

Really? I don't remember how much bird gives. I like this way though cause I can just walk in and out of the cave and make this monster respawn quickly. Yeah maybe less exp than the metal owl thingy but it's efficient and probably a faster method overall since there's less walking to do..

Simple, near Peregrin Quay, there's a monster known as Bricklayer. Near Neos, theres a gold version of it. When you get the bird, soar to the Dark Ruins on the hill and find the silver one. They have the best ability in the game. Find out for yourself.

The infamous monsters in the Farebury region are:

One Knight Stand (Day/Night)

Pain in the Neck (Night)

Shortshooter (Day)

Material Bird (forgot name) (Day)

Axoraptor (Day)

You can beat Axoraptor (Hackzilla) at this point of the game. I highly recommend that both characters are at least level 8, any lower and I would die.Make the hero heal, and get yangus's tension to 20 or 50 (as you can only reach 100 tension at level 11) then attack. Then get your tension to 20 (if you did it to 50 last time) or 50 (if you did it to 20 last time) then attack again and he is dead. Best wepons and armour are recommended.

but he uses the flame attack and at lvl 8 you dont have much chance, i tryed and died, wouldnt reccomend to anyone lol.

This is probably a really dumb note, however. remember to enter the cave and go back out if you want to face the slime knight again. instead of running around facing normal slimes, just enter/go out of the cave and fight him until you level up.

heh i always go almost straight to the boss at lvls 3-5 becose i think its too easy that way.and also i dont have patience so i always rush through the game with low lvls :D

hey ppl plz read this......i know a way to get a lot of money but you need the alchemy pot.....but 3 medical herbs for 8 coins each(24 coins) then put 2 in the pot then u will get a rare herb ... mix that with another medical herb... u will get a bunch of rose (thats the name) its very rare and you can sell it for 118 coins...you spend 24 coins and get 118 coins.....i dont know if any1 else thought of this already but ...yeah

That idea sounds good on paper but wouldn't that take a long time to brew in the ol' alchemy pot? You could probably get more money just fighting enemies before the recipe is finished in the pot. Maybe not though, I never tested it.

@Artificialraven well it's good to fight monsters while the alchemy pot is brewing, so you get a bunch of monney, and the alchemy pot should be finished in about 5 to 8 fights.

That's impossible. While you can obtain Dragon Slash that early, you can't raise the HP to survive the flamebreath and falcon slash that he does. You are far outclassed the first chance you can encounter him, and you should probably turn your gameshark off if you did beat him that low.

Nah Hackzilla is a freakin beast. I couldn't kill him until I had a 4 person party and my level was in the late teens.

The minimum level I have beaten him is 8, but you just have to be lucky of what attacks he uses on which character, and the Hero's healing. If he uses the double attack on Yangus at level 8 there is a chance that he will survive (for example if Axoraptor hits 23 and 24), a higher chance if you used the Seed of Life on him to get to 50 HP. When I tried to face him lower then 8 I died. Unfortunately I can't record because I don't have a device. At level 6, you would be one-hit killed.

I just whacked it at level 8 :) Just psyching up and using dragon slash it should be pretty easy.

@Artificialraven now fighting hackzilla is easy if both the mc and Yangus know heal(just in case), and you should rise your tension to deplete his hp, but.... the downside is that your wide open for some attacks, so only physce up only one of them and have the other heal...
