@ukryan1992 you are so right about that! 2003 is the year I became a fan of eurovision and I think Birgitta is one the reasons for that :) (Together with Danijela, but I discovered her only later)
@ glenn2912 It's vandalism to replace the sound of the wonderful live orchestral arrangement and Danijela magical live performance that night in Birmingham, with this english studio version!
@vimsegiraffen Sorry if I offended you :-( I also think her performance was great that night and I thought it would have been a nice idea to place it together with the music. I thought that just showing a picture of her would be so boring...
i ADORE this song, the melody, the melancholic lyric, which altogether, is performed so beautifully. Croatia sure knows how to do a decent ballad! Thanks for the memory! x
Does anybody have this song in english as MP3-File and can send this to me??? Please. I'm searching for this version since many years. If yes, please contact me to share the email-addresses... thank you...
The best song of the 1998 Contest and in my view along with Norway's I Evighet of 1996 the best song of the 90s, if not all Eurovisions. An absolutely fantastic song with an orchestra. It's a shame we don't get more like this in Eurovision nowadays, thanks to televoting and entries having to be in your face performances. Thank goodness Serbia broke the mold of recent years by producing a winning ballad in 2007. The UK could have done the same had we sent Cyndi instead of Scooch.

This is a terrible injustice for ESC and Daniela to have the
original version replaced with English. It would be better
to simply have the english version with no video but with
the Croatian lyrics. HORRIBLE!

Sorry for this but this is terrible in english...
Croatian is so beautiful, tender and soft, the original version is miraculous. Top 3 ever!
I would also forbidden in the Eurovision not to sing in the mother tongue.

israel had in ieder geval nooit mogen winnen
stievo1978 4 years ago
glenn2912 4 years ago
Nou,
1 Kroatie
1 Nederland
3 Malta
4 Israel
5 UK
