  • what the hell is a t type/grand national... Probably a pile a shit t type

  • @ifastsctc Its better than a Junkstang!!

  • @ifastsctc Or a shitty shelby!

  • Just so you know that is NOT a T-type or GN it is a Turbo T

  • are the trannys built pretty tuff in gnx`s? what trans would they compare to in other musclecar?

  • How you make it? ;)

  • I'm a lady and I simply luv grand nationals

  • @Queenofcydonia2 It's nice to hear that there are women out there who actually like muscle cars for a change, as opposed to boring cars like Prius' or Jetta's.

  • Yes... Yes... Yes

  • ure not abusing ure cars ure just having ufn with them like ure supposed too it sucks seeing gnxs with no miles on them its cool seeing a car in that mint of condition but id actually drive it

  • DUDE, nice, burn out, dont worry about those guys bitchin, do what you want.

  • any modification my dad has a 87 gn i love it alot

  • i hate the shit talke ron here hes doing burnouts cmon i love grand nationals

  • NICE. SO IS THIS A GN OR A REGAL? AND WHAT YEAR?

  • Where in the hell do you find gas for $1.90? Here in chicago we'll get lucky with $3.50

  • @IhelpU4XBL He pays 1.90 for a gallon, i pay 1.70 for a litre in Australia. Stop complaining lol

  • @tkotomy

Yea but your economy is way better than ours!

  • @IhelpU4XBL It is, but ever since gulf war #2 petrol prices have doubled in Australia. You guys have it easy in that sense. Try paying $80 just to fill up your car.

  • @tkotomy

We pay almost $100 for a full gas tank....Maybe some miscalculations?

  • @IhelpU4XBL impossible - if you divide $3.50 by 3.78, i presume you're paying by the gallon, you'd get the equivalent of 92 cents a litre, i'm paying $1.70 a litre.

Your car must take around 114 litres if you're paying $100 which is just ridiculous unless you drive a truck. .

  • @IhelpU4XBL

A truck is what it is!

  • @IhelpU4XBL well yeah it's hardly the same, i'm filling up a sedan

  • stop at :16 sec........

  • very nice.

  • Is my 3800 Series II supercharged really based off this motor?

  • Weak ass V6

  • Nice Buick :)

  • I clicked on the channels of the people talking shit on here and they don't have shit! I guess thats were there talk comes from!

  • @mnauto455 looked at your channel... you aint got shit!!!!!!

  • i never remember gas bein that low

  • nice ride man- gotta 99 lesabre on some rims- st8 pipes and cone filter- a riced out american- you got a REAL buick- take care of her.... don't try TOO hard to tear up her drivetrain

  • take your foot off the f-ing brake pedal.............not a legit burnout

  • @rmendel1000 bet you don't have a grand national to improve on his either

  • @JakeDubz262 ......take your foot off the brake. an actual muscle car will spin the tires without standing on the brake. it is true. when your mom sees the video of you beating on her car she is going to kick your ass.

  • Weakest turbo Buick burnout ever!!!! Sounded like it was running rough.....

  • that was awesome !!!!!!!!!!

  • 328turbo is right. With a stick you'd lose and ability to brake torque the car and launch it effectively. Not to mention killing the life of your turbo every time you shifted. That funny little sound you hear coming from a turbo Regal when you let off the gas is excess air being forced back through a shutter valve. I'd hate to do that to my turbo through every gear shift!

  • Not 100%, but there may have been a manual prototype. I know there was a Ferrari red w/ black trim Grand National prototype that was hot!

  • @71stingray 100% correct. A stick is a step backwards. Turbos love autos, hiway gears and tall tires!

  • seen better

  • That car is fucking amazing!<3 Dude ill give you $100000000000000000000000000 ;D

  • @crazytacky- you're right. Those are 86-87 turbine wheels from a t type. This car is a WE2 T-Type with an aftermarket Grand National rear spoiler.

  • @cmichael442 Maybe you should learn how to drive and enjoy your cars like I do!

  • @mnauto455 this guy...i had an 83 z28 id do doughnuts in the middle of the blvd on peak hours i know what crazy is, i just think my G body's where to good for that shit.

  • @mnauto455 how about enjoying them i hate how gnx are trailer queens with no miles i mean its amazing the condition of most of them but how bout you drive it mean dont put 100k on it and id wash it alot but enjoy it i hate how older cars from the 1970s go for big money how bout making them affordable so all can enjoy

  • @mnauto455 lol well i would not buy urs no 1 would if they knew u treat it like a $200 buick. but u fckn kids fck everything up anyway enjoy.

  • @cmichael442 Good for that because it's not for sale!

  • @cmichael442 nice story grandpa

  • @mnauto455 agreed no since in having a muscle car and driving like a grandpa haha

  • @mnauto455 you got that right. thats what performance cars are for. i have an 89 camaro with a 350 swap and i dont baby the car too much either

  • @mnauto455 Nice story grandpa

  • @cmichael442 it HIS car he can do whatever he wants with it!

  • @cmichael442 And its my mouth i can say anything i want so shut the fck up geek. ur hes bitch ur what? fag

  • @cmichael442 cause your a pussy

  • @cmichael442 dumbass those cars are made for performance wtf you mean you dont do burnouts

  • @vinnydee2010 @vinnydee2010 u think "wasting your tires, burning the converter on the transmission, stressing the axle, wasting gas, shorting the overall life of the power train in the car” is normal and you call me dumb ass? What a fcken noob. P.s performance is not destroying the power train. READ the manufacturer’s directions I’m sure it doesn’t say “burning tire and stressing your engine/transmission is COVERED AND RECOMMENDED AND THUS IS COVERED BY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY” fckn kid

  • @cmichael442 fck me, these kids now and days they can sck my big cok lol

  • @cmichael442 You sent that comment to yourself, idiot.

  • @cmichael442 Dude its his car let em do what he wants with it. Its not yours so chill the fuck out

  • @cmichael442 wana sell your t type?

  • @cmichael442 Run em hard or go home. This is called having fun, not abuse, if it breaks then ya fix it.

  • @cmichael442 You cant beat your cars cuz you cant afford them. Even if you could afford it your scared of a few horses. Whats the point of having horses if you just cage them all.... you need to ride them man.

  • @MrYamaha400f I can afford to throw a dollar dont mean im going to waste even that. such a kid. Grow up.

  • @cmichael442 Doing a burnout = Abuse? If that's one of your top 3 criterias when buying a car like this then you're running out of choices pretty fast. Why's that? That's because cars like these are too damn tempting to slam your foot down and they're most definitely built solid enough to handle a burnout without breaking up. What would be a muscle car without capability to handle a burnout? I think it would be like a bad layer cake. Looks delicious from outside, but doesn't have any taste.

  • @micarone yea...i agree...

  • @cmichael442 since when are you not supposto do a burnout in a grand national?

  • @cmichael442 kind of agree, its a shame to see some cars abused, then sold to unsuspecting buyers.. but at the same time, theyre machines. so have fun with them, and if something breaks, well, fix it!

  • @cb7pwn I agree with you. Not that it matters in the long run. but still. I like seeing mint condition classics. I also would want to drive said classic lol

  • lol hey i live in nanticoke lol

  • this is a bad looking car!!!!! thumbs up

  • Its not auto because its a luxury buick its because the turbo is so large it would actually be slower stick as you would lose boost and have to respool the turbo at everyshift. Auto also allows you to build boost at launches especially with a higher stall torque converter. And another thing they dont have bov's and they dont nee them period. Do your homework ppl or buy one like i did

  • best part 0:16 gas $1.94 hahahaha

  • UUUHHH I gottaq kick it sideways by shaking the wheel back n forth LOL!!!!!!!!

  • Why are the rims from an 84?

  • @opsmon They are the corect rims for 87. They came on 86 and 87 only.

  • @mnauto455 you are wrong .... those rims never came on 87 !!!

  • @opsmon My father had an '87 T-Type with those wheels. Looked just like the car in the video.

  • @CrazyTacky I didn't read the title correctly before. Those rims are on the t-type, to my knowledge the GN had different ones for 87.

  • @opsmon oh don't take my comment the wrong way.. I was just saying :)

The wheels you're talking about are the steel ones.

  • @CrazyTacky Got it! :)

  • @CrazyTacky u r correct the wheels r for t type not gn gn was chrome with plastic black center cap with turbo 6 logo,,,,

  • 0:16 i wish gas prices were this low!!!

  • @TG00dIn94

At $1.94. i could live with that.

  • i used to love leaving the 100 foot long burnouts outside my buddies apartment building weverytime i left his house in my 86 t type. The turbo just melts the tires right off the car. Damn i miss my Regal, almost stock it ran low 13's.

  • badass ride man!!!!!!!!

  • damn man nice GN,in my opinon some black rims would set that car off even more same size of course.+nice burnout

  • $1.94 gas =*(

  • black driver i bet lol

  • @fordpride101 damn why gotta be all that? an no he wasnt blk racist bitch

  • @dflowers500 im not racist haha just by the way the chick sounded and black people cant drive eather haha

  • hick town HARDD looks so dead

  • did any of these come with a manual tranny or were they all auto? Is there a manual swap for them...or not?

  • @LynxOGrady they were all auto's never heard of manual swap for them.

  • @mnauto455 ah. ok,

  • @mnauto455 There was a manual version...3-speed.

  • @Guitarrassdeamor no there was not all GNs came with an auto I did have an 78 monte with a v6 3-speed but no GN ever came with that set up

  • @Deviltaillight Really now...thank you for clarifying. That sucks.

  • check it out, if this is the 350 than you can take the manual trans out a older corvette or camaro

  • @x7afroman7x um, its a 3.8 single turbo V6.

  • @LynxOGrady pardon, single turbo*

  • @ChienesSaventPas how much you wanna bet he is like most other people and thought this was a Monte Carlo?

  • @LynxOGrady I have heard that before. lol.

  • @x7afroman7x check this out, it's a grand national t-type you noob. It doesn't have a 350 or any kind of chevrolet motor. That's a 3.8 twin turbo buick. and who the hell wants a t-5 in their car? You could just buy the t-5, hit it with a sledgehammer, and it would be exactly the same result as if you put in in you car, without the inconvenience of having to cut a hole in your floorboard.

  • @ChienesSaventPas this is tru t-5 can stand a bolt on mustang

  • @LynxOGrady There's a manual swap for every car. Just requires some cutting, some welding, some bolting, installation of a shifter and manual transmission, and vuala, you have you a manual in any car you want. lol

  • @LynxOGrady I had a Hawaii friend who said they did a manual tranny swap, i am sure TREMEC could swap in there T56 six-speed manual.

  • @LynxOGrady There's no manual swap that I know of...And if there is a kit, why would you want to do that to a car like this???

  • @keepthapinit why not? a Manual transmission would be pretty cool in a Grand National. But seeing you asked that, im assuming, why would i do something to a rare car?

  • @LynxOGrady Yeah man, just some things aren't meant to be modified....Just like a Shelby Mustang, or the Terminator Cobra...I can't imagine them with auto trans....Just the thought of those cars with trans swaps makes me cringe.....Sheesh!!!

  • @LynxOGrady i wonder why they didnt make any manuals? They would have been even better :)

  • @WhatIThinke bc its a buick! Buicks are all Luxury and the GN is a sport luxury car! Im glad they arent stick!!

  • @WhatIThinke bc its a buick! Buicks are all Luxury and the GN is a sport luxury car! Im glad they arent stick!!

  • I had a 1994 chevy caprice that would make that look like a joke at a burn out! That took time for the wheels to start spinning!

  • @jody25able he didnt hit the gas right away and controlled the car really poorly once he got it going lol, you shouldnt be doing that with a GN...

  • @cintrik - yeah i love the Grand national, my uncle had the GNX. Had for like 6 months then got stolen!

  • is he in park?

  • very nice, is that a turbo one?

  • I hate when people put on flashy rims on these cars...originals are badass...keep em clean

  • im sooooo drunk rite now!

  • I have one in 1:18 scale die cast, but that's as close as I am to the real thing :-) Very nice cars

  • Nice GN Man, What year is she? Is she hot air or intercooled? Either way they are still fun to drive. I own a 1981 & 1984 Buick T-Type both hot-air turbo cars.

  • @1984buickboy look at the wheels man 86 or 87 definately intercooled

  • @rjwebs Ok, Could not tell by the wheels because they fit any year regal and the vector wheels were put on 1984-1987 GN's and t-types. It is a really sweet GN, so please post more videos. I would love to see more of this car.

  • @1984buickboy Actually. the grand Nationals had those rims in 1985 except the spaces between the fins were blacked, and the 85 T-Types (which i can attest to, because i own one) had nasty looking delorean rims, with a red T in the middle. only 86 and 87 T-Types and Turbo Ts had those exact rims

  • @1984buickboy I just dropped a 800 dollar Precision in my 87 GN,, if u want my original intercooler , ill sell it cheap.

  • @SavageSS2010 Thanks, I do not beleive it will work to well on a hot-air-turbo car. If the motor was converted to cold air, i would probably take your offer. But sorry will not work on mine.

  • @1984buickboy its an 87

  • i envy anyone who has a grand national

  • sweet car!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice azz car I was wondering whats the difference between the buick regal and the grand national

  • Horsepower and price.

  • @225boyn702 Grand national had the 3.8L turbo intercooled engine. The regular Regal did not have turbo. The Regal T-type had the same engine as the grand national.

  • @cafeflorab4 only 86 and 87 had an intercooled engine, 84 and 85 were hot air

  • Supercharged V6 baby

  • @TheKnuckleDusta how much horse not mor then mines

  • @TheKnuckleDusta turbocharged actually

  • @TheKnuckleDusta Damn srtaight !!!

  • that car sounds so smooth

  • @mnauto455 Wrong, the GNX was only made in 1987. You must be thinking of a Grand National, which is different from the GNX.

  • @mnauto455 they didt make a gnx in 1986 only 1987 just saying not 2 be a smart ass

  • mnauto455....the GNX model was only available in 1987.....it was the last production series for the g-body. Now the GrandNational was available from 84-87.

  • stay in it buddy!!!

  • @mnauto455 There was no GNX in 1986.

  • And they tend to go for $75k and up.

  • Almost lost it , lol ---

  • Ricky Bobby says it best.

I just wanted to share a piece of personal information with you. I've got a...a chubby right now because THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST AWESOME EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE

  • wish i could afford a mint condition GNX. 547 made. does anybody have a money figure on these?

  • turbocharged not supercharged but ya they are badass

  • dude the gn's are bad ass they came out stock with a supercharged v6 and they could do 13's straight off the show room floor give or take a little

  • I thought that was a V6. Yeah they are peppy!

  • A friend of mine has a WE4..........This video brings lots or memories back.

  • nice burnout. I always wanted the gn model but i also would've took the t-type regal too wit t tops but it didn't work out like that so i had too build mines up so it'll be faster than those

  • Not a GN. It's a WE4 Turbo Regal. Nice car though.......

  • Hi QuickBuick87, interesting comment -- I learned something new -- had not heard of the WE4 before. I understand the WE4 looks nearly the same as the GN but has a few slight differences inside and out. Only 1547 WE4's made in 87...pretty rare car.

  • 86 grand national is actually a grand national, and its pretty rare with 5,000 made compared to the 87's 25,000.

  • 20,000 made in 1987.

  • actually 20,193 Produced exactly of the 87 GN. if you going to comment on my exact number it would be nice if you used the right number to correct me, not another rough guess.

  • 20,000 is way closer than the 25,000 you suggested. Any idiot can google "1987 buick grand national production" and get the answer. I just didn't feel like it. Congratulations to you though for doing it.

  • There were only 20,000 made(from the Turbo Regals Registry, witch is from GMs sales firgures)(My 87 GNX is registerd their also). The 82GNs are the most rare, only 25 being known

  • @orbitofdoom16 thats a great point mind u in 1983 no grand nationals were built only t-types glad 2 see people learning bout this car

  • @orbitofdoom16 "215" 1982 Grand nationlas were made dude I used to own one & now i have a 84 GN updated to 87 interior & motor built to GNX specs & beyond what numbers your GNX I have thought about clonning my GN to a GNX except for the rear susp(i have eaton rear & air bags) & making it Number 666....

  • nice monte carlo lol hahaha nice gn bro like the burnout
