Somehow a bit disappointing, but not much, after Barnes. A good vocalist, but the end of the song is so much the same "finnish melodic death metal" as in Swarm too, so stupid and boring. As if good death metal couldn't carry itself, you gotta try and show off that you can play crap too... that's been the problem with finnish metal for years. Only Finnish album recently that hasn't fallen into that crap trap is Archgoat's latest, The Light-Devouring Darkness.

Yeah, except they did'nt actually release any albums and become well known until the late 90's, so they are in that sense relatively new. I consider anything from the mid-late 90's to be "new", as I'm pretty much stuck on death metal from the late 80's to the early-mid 90's and that which sounds close to that.
