  • Am I the only one that wants them to have some sort of reunion album?

  • I like how this song sounds... If only I knew what the lyrics meant...

  • I really like the song. I found it on Itunes and now I listen to it again and again although I don't understand anything.

  • I love listening to Irish songs. Playing them is fun too

  • Also if one is to listen carefully to the english lyrics that celtic woman used for their version of mo ghille, it is still about moving forward, to not just give in when all may seem in vain. This new rendition comes with new progresses of the people, that their struggles and sacrifices have not gone unrewarded. Maybe in the future, others will add to the lines of this wonderful song, in their own voice to find the strength of their forefathers and kinsmen. Just a positive thought and opinion

  • Each artist of celtic woman was already an accomplished soloist and david downes recognized that each woman had something special and unique to bring to the table. Though orla and maev (sp) went their way for their reasons, celtic woman still thrives with their newest addition for the same reason that they did when the other two had parted ways, because all of the current ladies are gifted! I would like to see orla and meav back also without anybody leaving. Would make for a very rich concert!

  • Fell under her spell tonight.....Just a little late.....She was in town today!

  • i want her to come back to celtic woman and meav

  • @MrJKM1997 me too!

  • I'm so excited I get to see you tonight in Spokane!!!!

  • I like both Orla's and Celtic Woman's version.

  • Great song and voice!

Greetings from Silesia, the celtic past of which I've discovered recently

  • she is gorgeous any gaelic single birds that can teach me email me on raymond.davison@live.co.uk

  • Great singing and musicians, but I find this version's tempo a little too fast, considering its mood. I prefer slower versions, like Mary Black's, who also recorded the best version of "Song for Ireland" I have ever listened.

  • David Downs said that her voice is like the voice of a different world. so soft and mystic

  • I'm rather surprised that Orla was able to do so well after leaving Celtic woman; however, I'm very proud to say I was a fan of her then, and I am a fan of her now. I love her voice. David Downs once described it as having a mystic quality to it, and I agree with him. She's a wonderful artist, and it was her that got me into Irish Celtic music. :) Everything about her is Irish, and I love it.

  • Tá mé i ngrá léi guth! :]

  • This is great! Although, I don't know, I guess I just like the Celtic Woman touch. But even so, this is just so amazing!

  • OMG!!!!! I LOVE this!!! I honestly can't choose between Orla's version and CW's version lol!!! They're both so awesome!!!!!

  • I like celtic womans version since it has a special place in my heart and always will but orlagh has a mix of her own and all of the recordings together!! And that's what gives it the orlagh touch! Can't stop listening to it!

  • As much as I love the CW version, Orla's voice simply dances all around the notes here; the effortless way her vocals soar over the song is enthralling.

  • I don't like this as much as the Celtic Woman version, but definitely more than Mary Black's!

  • @612Matthew (gasps) What?! how can you not like Orla's version as much as Celtic Woman's verion?! Inconceiveable!!

  • @Erin92100 lol when you said "inconceivable" it reminded me of The Princess Bride

  • @LuthienofOssiriand Yeah, lol on that one. That's why I said it and because to me, it's true. Really, it is inconceiveable that you don't like Orla's version as much as Celtic Woman's. I'm a huge fan of her- that might explain the "inconceiveable"! remark.

  • @Erin92100 I agree, this version is sooo good. ;)

  • @LuthienofOssiriand Totally! and I just like the way that the word is said- tone wise in the Princess Bride. I'll try it on my friends when I see 'em next week and see what happens. I bet it'll be a definite lol moment for all!

  • @Erin92100 one of the best films ever =D

  • @LuthienofOssiriand OOh yeah! Such a funny movie, love the humor not too dirty but still hits home. Too bad the movies for the most part these days are, so dirty. That is, with all the sex and foul language. I want to see more humor in movies like what is to be found in Princess Bride.

  • @Erin92100 Same! not enough good stuff :( it's mostly Pixar that gives clean, good humour these days. other than that, not really much

  • @LuthienofOssiriand Unfortunately, that is wayyyyyyyyyyyy too true. Though yayy for Disney and Pixar for saving good, clean humor that everyone can enjoy without worrying as to whether it is too dirty to let kids hear or see it.

  • @Erin92100 I know! And even tho I'm legally old enough to watch the "dirty" stuff, I am absolutely repelled by it.

  • @LuthienofOssiriand Same- word for word. That's why I love the classics and stuff like that. Oldies are the goodies. *grins*

  • @Erin92100 Totally!

  • @LuthienofOssiriand *laughs* Can't argue with that!

  • Orla fallon has such an elegent voice anyone who loves music they could die for

  • I like this better than the version with Celtic Woman, the style fits better with the lyrics, He is my hero, my Gallant Darling,

    He is my Caesar, a Gallant Darling;

I've found neither rest nor fortune

Since my Gallant Darling went far away.

  • @LuthienofOssiriand Yeah... those are the REAL lyrics... haha. I always wondered why Celtic Woman changed the verses into something that had nothing to do with the chorus.

  • @LuthienofOssiriand

     you are so right.

  • Thanks for uploading. Should help keep me sane while I wait for my CD :D

  • I ordered the cd through Orla's website, did you too? If yes, how many days did you have to wait?

  • @Merlenzio It's not released till March 1st then it will ship

  • @gaswigg Oh alright, thanks a lot =)
