From what I could find, the Denville station depot had experienced a fire and was demolished a few weeks later.

The fact that the station hadn't looked all that great for about 2-2.5 decades before it was demolished would be another reason.

Wow I sure hope they tore it down because of a fire or something. Tearing down an old train station is a big no no.

that's sucks they torned down the station and it's now a parking lot.

it's just a parking lot now with i think a few benches and a bus shelter sort of thingie. what were they thinking?
