  • Well done. Looks delicious.

  • "It has to be done.." Ummm, that is your choice....

  • die Ösi Girls, san scho wuilde

  • you need a Daunenjacke, a dünne, zum unterziagn

  • What an awesome young lady you are. I am very impressed. Great job on the deer and your videos are very informative.

  • @blocktube123 thank you very much, I appreciate your comment! Lilly

  • excellant video, perfect kill shot, it wouldnt hav known what hit it, great skills :D

  • Aloha Lilly, awesome video, great shot. The liver and onions looked delicious. We usually add bacon too. 243 very popular here too. Do you do much wild boar hunting there. Wild boar the most popular game animal here. You're an awesome young lady. Thank you.

  • Great shot, and great video!

  • Great video. Would love to have seen the shot! Also love bacon and liver!

  • wonderful we need more ladies with your skills

i'm 37 it still is not easy to take an animal life but if im going to eat it I would rather it be me that harvested it WITH RESPECT

    again cu-does

  • what calibers are in your Bockbuchsflinte? what bullet did u use?

  • @Axbent caliber is .243 and I use Remington ammunition :-)

  • Super video!! It is nice to see that we share the same tradition, after we shoot a buck we also have liver and onions, you did a great job working on that young buck.your friend Greg.

  • @busycando cool :-) thank you Greg :-P

  • You made a perfect shot!! Nothing like eating a freshly killed young deer. It is so refreshing to see a woman that is interested in the same things i am. Can't wait for more of your vids!!!!

  • @tikkalongrifle thank you a lot for your nice comment :-)

  • Nice looking lock blade. Interesting watching the deer prepping and knowing it's part of your lifestyle and seeing the food being cooked...I could smell it from here :-) Dog is always a good companion outdoors, I take mine on nearly all of my canoe/wildcamping expeditions. Would like to see more of this sort of thing from a female perspective. Thanks Lilly - Pete.

  • @MINDWISEMAN thank you Pete for your nice comment. I appreciate that a lot from a professional outdoorsman like you are :-)

  • Sauberer Schuss. WMH!

Bis jetzt is jedes Reh glegen :-) also bin damit sehr zufrieden.

  • Awsome video, nicely done.

  • Cool! Ever think of keeping the guts and making a bowstring for one of your bows?

  • @hellerZauberer i kept the senew of the legs and back :-)

  • Wow tolles video!

    Lilly …..you’re really tuff : ))

    Take care,

    ~Thomas

  • Good shot Lilly! I'm sure the liver tasted very well! Do you also use the skin, bones or antlers for anything?

    Groetjes

    Patric

  • @patje0109 normally our hunting community sells the deer, but this time i skinned and butchered it. i wanna try to tan the hide like the indians did :-)

  • @alonewolverine1984 Cool! I hope you make a video of it :-)

    Groetjes

  • Great video, i love it, thank you for posting, i will post to my sub as you deserve alot more view...

    Best regards

    sercout

  • @sercout thanks :-)

  • Interesting that you shot the male and let the female go. But what kind of rounds were you using? That was a huge hole you put in him! Anyway, well done!

  • @goldenscales you can't shoot the female ones this time of a year because they have babies. what is "rounds"? didn't find it in the dictionary. it was 243 gauge. the huge hole was the backside. it's normal that the hole is so big, because the bullet splits up in different parts to be more destructive. thanks :-)

  • @goldenscales According to Wikipedia, "Originally, bullets were metallic or stone balls used in a sling as a weapon and for hunting. Eventually as firearms were developed, these same items were placed in front of an explosive charge of gun powder at the end of a closed tube. As firearms became more technologically advanced, from 1500 to 1800, bullets changed very little. They remained simple round (spherical) lead balls, called rounds, differing only in their diameter."

  • @goldenscales ok thank you... learned something new today :-)

  • @alonewolverine1984 You're welcome! Happy hunting! :-)

  • Loved this Video Lilly! Way to go Girl, nice Deer and a great shot! Were you hunting in a orchard? I was amazed at how well your crazy dog stays down and quiet and didn't scare away the deer. Loved your hat too. I always have to take my hat off and tie back my hair or I end up with blood and slime all over. : ) Your Dinner looked super, fresh deer liver is the only liver I like. Great video, thanks for sharing with us : ) Sara

  • @saradreaming hi sara! thank you for your nice comment :-))) yeah it's an orchard just by the forest, my favourite place in that hunting area which is about 300 hectares big. my dog never listens to me, but in a hunting situation he is surprisingly obedient. call it instinct... my mum makes the best liver :-P mmmmmhhhmmm

  • Well Placed shot. You should do a Insrtuctional video in German on the feild dressing of the Deer.

  • Erst dachte ich du bist "engländer" doch dann BOOOM! Sauberes englisch!

    Izulabite

  • Blattschuss ; ) sehr gut, tolle Arbeit Lilly, Respekt. Grandioses Essen, Mahlzeit!

  • Are all girls over there like you? if so I need to move there!

Very nice job, I really love watching your videos.

    Take care

    Pete

  • @moparmanpete I'm afraid that I'm just different. Most of the girls here are just "normal" :-)

  • Great job Alonewolverine.

It's more easy with gun instead of bow^^.

This vidéo is instructive, thank you.

  • Why not hang it? it makes it so much easier

  • you make gutting him look so easy... ive never hunted before mainly because i dont know what to do with the animal after shooting it. looking for a good book that shows how to gut rabbit, deer, squirels, bear, etc... preferably with color pictures and clear instructions if you know of any good titles (english of course). want to hunt this year.

  • @FixedByDoc hmmm...I don't know a good book about this... I learned it from my father. I think the best would be if you watch youtube videos. It is much easier to learn by video. how is it over there in the US? do u need a hunting licence?

  • @alonewolverine1984 we have to go to hunter safety course first but just once in lifetime. then you purchase deer tags one for each deer you wish to get. then you can go hunt all the deer you want provided you have a tag for each. they sell the tags but dont know for how much yet as ive havnt yet got one.

  • @FixedByDoc Mate I give you Credit for asking questions before pulling the trigger. I am a hunting guide for a trade and I have lost track of times how many people shoot and then say "now what'. Wilderness outfitters archery. " Pathfinder school and Dave Canterberrys youtube channel has a video on gutting deer. Also, ask a hunter if you can Tag along. Most are willing to teach you. You have the right attitude for it.

  • @chillymywilly thanks. im subbed to dave's channels and will look for that vid. if i get the chance to go out with another hunter i will jump on it. ive been trained to kill humans while in the army but i never had to actually. i only had to fix the hurt ones. but its different than animals who cant fight/shoot back. not sure if i actually could but want to know what to do if i did. and the way our economy is i may need to soon.

  • Wow! Great shot! I think you've gutted a deer before... :)

It doesnt get much fresher than that! Yum yum!!

    Great job! Dan

  • @gotrocksinhead thank you, it was my third time :-)

  • @alonewolverine1984 I could tell...

  • Nice shot Lilly, Good quick kill well done. Fresh liver and onions :o)
