It as an impromptu performance during a Hip Hop Show. It wasn't about precision and harmony. Half of the time, rappers were singing (Rae, Ghost, Deck, Donna) so I don't see why people are tripping like it was Jodeci singing. I know Dalvin was singing, but it wasn't like the crew was going in...

I do know what they went through. Been a fan for years and watched their show over the last month. I am happy they are getting their ducks in a row and hopefully they can start spitting out great music once again. I also had a personal encounter with them back in 06. What a mess they were. 4 shows that were embarrassing and people were screaming for their money back. Trust me I want them to succeed. they are good for R&B.

Devante was a song writer and produced the softer songs

Dalvin was the rapper for the group ("Alone","Sweaty" etc..) and a song writer and he produced the songs with mor eof a hip hop beat

Dalvin and Devante were brothers and there last name was DeGrate so thats where they got the DE from in JODECI, not from Devantes name...

Raekwon basically wanted the audience to show more respect for dalvin and jodeci because they were some of the realist in hip-hop/r&b. And how during the time that jodeci was making music, Dalvin was the one who wanted Raekwon & Ghostface to work on the song. But Raekwon & Ghostface weren't sure about the song because it didn`t fit their genre of music . So even though the performance wasn't the best, Raekwon wanted the audience to thank Dalvin for the opportunity.
