  • very good.

  • This rules so much.

  • nice atmosphere

  • what the hell no singer

  • @addykk47 because with a song like this it dosent need vocals chilling enough

  • @addykk47 there are some background vocals near the end

  • #t=357s add this to end of the url, thats when the vocals come in

  • I love the part at 3:49 where that wonderfully rich-sounding guitar comes in

  • @cardboarddalek sounds so Agalloch ,im loving too , Skagos directly to favorites

  • The title of this song is from the last line of Fredy Perlman's brilliant essay "Against His-story! Against Leviathan!"

  • @moridin247 Anarcho-Black Metal. Cascadia's full of it. Check Leech's "Against Leviathan!" full length.

  • @ColdMourning Thanks for the rec, I love Leech and many other Cascadian bands. I just wanted to write my previous comment for those who stumble on this beautiful music on youtube and wonder what it is all about.

  • @moridin247 I'm surprised to hear anyone outside of Oregon/Washington knowing of Leech.

  • @BlessedMassacre I got a shirt and a split tape, living in Canada.

  • @BlessedMassacre I'm on the east coast and I love Leech, I have a shirt, and I just ordered the split LP.

  • were can l buy the cd anywere in us??

  • I'm from Vancouver Island just like Skagos... Makes me damn proud

  • I just bought this cd i can't wait to head to the woods and here it in solitude. The very woods of oak and the streams and rivers that wind like a serpent i explore again and again. I don't even need weed to get high music like this and the very powers of nature is the greatest high one can get.

  • @lordblasfhemy

    >here it in solitude

    >here it

    >here

also weed is the very power of nature

  • great!!!!

  • smiley face

  • Skagos is a major in the Cascadian Black Metal scene. Check out the group for it on FB for additional artists. I personally recommend Alda.

  • just amazing...

  • I remember hearing them for the first time like four years ago. They improved so much since them.

The people not the band lol.

  • beautiful dudes!

  • @gavinmoose the point is never to be known.. up here in cascadia, the point is NEVER to be known. rather.. like a view you see that is breathtaking, it is meant to be appreciated but never able to have. THIS is why CASCADIAN METAL will always be true, never about being a corporate image..

A direct quote from another person on another skagos video.

  • now this is good black metal, absolutely genius

  • Untouched beauty. Hail Skagos!

  • Their from the Comox Valley, on Vancouver Island, BC.

  • from canada where abouts?

  • It sounds similar not the same..but a likeness to Agalloch.

  • @darkeneddreams I know exactly what you mean. All the Pacific Northwest metal bands (Agalloch, WITTR, Skagos, etc) have that same "feel".

  • @dfinch10 some of the best metal is coming outta the NW it has the feel cause all it does its rain in the summer and snow in the winter

  • I'm glad these lads are a local band here. That, and the fact they're both only 18 y/o. Fucking impressive music.

  • great!

  • best black metal i've heard lately. too bad the productive process will be smaller from now on...

  • What do you mean by the productive process? Are you saying they're going to go downhill from here?

  • They're going on an extended hiatus.

  • thats because the guitar player moved to montreal to study.

  • @Exhume

Well isaac out in montreal. And rays slipped off the face of the earth, they still write over the internet and such record parts and send. I remember isaac or andrew (their kamlaniye drummer) saying something about that

  • @MattyCakezZ Ray played with Iskra for a while and now he's with Fauna.

  • @antonssonjason Ah. Can't say i've heard of fauna just yet.

  • @MattyCakezZ Amazing anarcho-primitive Cascadian black metal. Dunno if you've heard of Echtra, it's the solo project of Fauna's vocalist. Look for Fauna's albums "Rain" and "The Hunt" and Echtra's "Burn it All Away" and "A War For Wonder EP", I know they're all available online.

  • Great! \,,/

  • A must have. Awesome tune within!!

  • Best black metal in a long time.

  • from Canada? im impressed... this music is so deep........

  • Perfect! Amazing atmosphere...

  • Brilliant! I'm going to purchase this album!

    Thanks for uploading.
