Yep - custom built. The main structure wwas based on the Sea Perch ROV with modifications. It is controlled by a 100' tether from the surface, that carries power and video feed to and from the ROV. Niniane has 6 thrusters to go up, down and then 4 to be able to spin and turn in all directions. There is no true ballast system, as she is neutrally buoyant (takes a while to get right!) and then I can just use the upa nd down thruster to move her throght the water
