Sounds great! I've heard complaints about the way the connector fits...are you having any issues with that? Also, I like the chord progression you are playing. Looks like Ebmi7 to Bbmi7 to Bmaj7. I am not so sure about the Bmaj7, do I have that correct?
Gorgeous tone! May I ask how you recorded the mobile-in, given there's no output? Did you just plug the headphone out of your ipad into the line-in of your computer to record?
Hey man I wrote a comment here like a month ago and decided to get the mobile in and I'm really impressed with both the device and the app. The only complain is that for some reason it doesn't work that well with garageband, there is no latency problems but the signal gets cutoff here and there and it gets very annoying, when I record what I'm playing it sounds clear when I play it back. but while i'm playing recording or not I get that interference. Wondering if you have the same problem. Thks.
@saulclaws Hmmm, I haven't used it enough with Garageband to notice any issues. I would contact Line 6 Support for that. It works fine with a few other apps on my iPad (Pocket GK and JamUP Pro). I'll mess around with garage band and let you know what happens. Otherwise though, pretty awesome modelling right?
Dude, listening through a pair of Sennheiser headphones, seriously sweet sweet tones!!!! I didn't want to listen through crappy laptop speakers, and I don't work for Sennheiser, but they give your jam alot of justice. Keep on rocking........
@jefonyx well, I'm using my ipad. I try to have all other apps closed when I'm using this and if I do that on a full charge, it lasts me quite a long time. Not sure how long, but good enough for some silent woodshedding.
have you tried this with garageband and if so have you had any problems with it? i bought it specifically to mess around w in GB and although the line 6 site has directions for using it some people reported they couldn't get it to work, just curious if you've encountered any issues.
@imairlax Thanks for watching! no issues with garageband at all! It doesn't work with amplitube (for obvious reasons). I use it with garageband and Pocket GK (For Bass)
@aldsmusic awesome, glad to hear it, and watching was my pleasure, always nice to find another talented guitarist on youtube! can't wait til mine gets here saturday!
Hey thanks for this demo, it's really great and your playing is very good too.
Do you think this is better than the apogee jam? I'm trying to decide between the 2 of them but I need some help deciding. Any help would be appreciated.
@saulclaws the Line 6 Mobile POD will only work with the Line 6 Mobile In. Personally, I think the Mobile In and Mobile POD addresses the latency issues that most interfaces/apps have. The Mobile In will also work with other apps like garageband and pocket GK (for bass). Haven't tried the other apps.
@EvSergTV My issue with the Apogee Jam was Latency. It didn't feel organic and there was a disconnect from guitar. The Mobile POD and Mobile In actually addresses this issue. You can actually 'feel' what you are playing, if that makes any sense.
Thanks for your comment. I ordered this yesterday after watching your video! I would appreciate if you would upload overdrive sounds... ( I love 80's rock!).
@hdshimase The overdrive sounds really good! It's a lot like what you'll hear in the Line 6 Promo Videos for the Mobile In/Mobile POD. I chose to do a demo with clean/low gain settings because a lot of people were not too impressed with the older POD's clean/low gain settings. Obviously much has changed since then, the tone actually cleans up when you roll back the volume!
Nice tone. Great sound.

I had the Apogee Jam, but returned it.

@aldsmusic Nice demo!
but what was wrong about Apogee Jam, that you decide to return it?
Did you notice any latency issues, or sound quallity was bad for you?
