@mikethebeast1012 totally agree, that muffler gives the si a nice deep sound that is quiet when you crusing but beefy when you stepp on it.. putting the new exhaust made it sound more raspy even though it doesnt sound as loud as a lot of other exhaust setups

I am trying to decide on the megapower or megapower R for my 07 SI sedan.

I do not want a terribly loud exhaust note. I am intsalling an injen CAI, a hondata one-time flash-map for the CAI+Skunk2, and the skunk2 itself. Hondata says to make sure the catback is less restrictive than stock. I'm sure that megapower covers that. Do i HAVE to have the megapower R or will the megapower be OK with the CAI and Hondata map ?

This exhaust system is no where near "rice." I agree its loud but it's a 70mm exhuast system which was designed for highly modified N/A engines. If someone is buying this exhaust system its most likely not their only modification. With other engine modifications it sounds even better. i.e luderlm's videos

I heard the hondata flash wouldn't make a diff with just an intake + exhaust, but the dcrh would definitely need it. 27hp gain at the flywheel is impressive. Know the real whp gain by chance?
