  • Ah, I love these games! I grew up on these games!

  • I don't care what anyone says, but these DOS games were the best ever!!!!!! It proves that realistic graphics and 3D gameplay makes a good game. These started it all!

  • I was laughing nearly the whole time. AHHHH good times. To think a whole game used to fit on a 3.5 floppy.

  • Trivia: To enable a cheat mode, type in DNX (X being the number 1, 2 or 3 - depending on the episode you want to play) ASP at the command line. Use the following keys in-game:

G+O+D: All items and full health and firepower

    G+O+W: Skip the level

  • Secret Tip: To hear some music while you play, insert a tape or CD into your nearest music player device. You may also check the Help menu for a list of good radio stations.

  • one of my fondest childhood memories

  • I loved this game so badass! best childhood game

  • I love this game I used to play it when I was around five :D

It took me forever to beat it but it sure was fun to figure out.

  • Talk about humble beginnings. This is the same Duke Nukem that said "It's Time to Kick Ass and Chew Bubblegum, and I'm All Out of Gum"?

  • @DeadlyAngelicDemon yep, that very same

and you know someone's badass when they save the world while wearing a pink shirt

  • I still play this game from time to time in the desktop I fixed up to play these old classics. Can't beat the old experience....

  • Someone put this on the iPhone

  • There's no music...?

  • @smllslketeensprt This game was fun back then. Eventually, you wouldn't notice that there wasn't any music.

  • Immortal classic. Loved it and still do...

  • I used to play this game on a oldschool desktop!! I was 7 now I'm 24 lol! Good times!!!

  • @seapsking aww man I love this game. I used to have it on an old compture which doesnt exist anymore :(

  • OMG some one tell mi were to get this game again i loved it wen i was a kid

  • Ah yes i remember this like it was yesterday =] Good game.

  • Kick ass game

  • Good game, but it's super easy. I played it again and again as a kid. It's worth a download if I can get the dos box to load, but then again it might be easier to drag out the floppy disk basket. :/

  • I had this on my windows 3.1 compy when I was a wee kid

  • Ditto. I am now playing this in DOSBox in Windows XP. Not the same thing but close. ^_^

  • I gotta play this again

  • Not the same without the sunglasses.

  • I'm just wondering, is there any place at all to get the 2nd and 3rd episodes for this game? Because I'm assuming Apogee doesn't sell disks for this game series anymore, unless I'm mistaken about that...

  • Yes there is. 3D Realms, the company that used to be Apogee, are still selling downloads of Duke Nukem 1 and 2 for DOS. Unfortunately they have stopped selling physical copies but downloads are faster anyway. Just go to their website.

  • could you help? i can't figure out how to operate my dos emulator. it says to enter a command, but it says i needa try to change from drive z to c.

  • infantryhawk: If you're using DOSbox, I can help. It sounds like you've got the same mounting problems most have, but I can't be sure. Can you put a video up showing what happens?

  • its on an old computer, i cant use videos on it... ill send a mail discribing it more.
