This song always brings to mind the Star tarot card from Crowley's Thoth deck. The woman pours out old dogma while a new star is born above her. It represents hope, generosity and the start of a new era. Plus there's the Universe card. I have no idea if Erasure had this in mind. Makes me like it even more.
