  • i think you should traspose this song to ur voice. dont be afraid of shouting more. it will make ur voice amazing, coz you have talent, but you are killing it.

  • @KorayLuleci The microphone I was using would not take any more volume in my voice. It would cause too much interference.

  • @threelegsoman no no, i didnt mean your voice is bad, but for example, you had put the capo to the 3rd fret, but if you put it to the 5th or 6th, your voice is gonna surprise you, and will be much more better. you should try it! and i think you should use a pick too. to get stronger sound from the guitar. nevertheless, you are nice!

  • i just want to say that this, Sir ,is really awasome, i recorded that on my iphone ,showing to my friends ; )) ''

  • kaULinka?

  • @MpaB4o I do not understand your question.

  • I was looking for a simpler version of this song. Was taught it when I was a little kid by playing only the lower string.

    But this is much better.

    Thanks for the upload.

  • Too bad you changed the refrain. The literal translation is: Little snowberry, snowberry, snowberry of mine!

Little raspberry in the garden, my little raspberry!

  • @Fajoekit I am singing the version presented by the BBC Schools Programme, Singing Together broadcast in the 1970s. I do not speak nor read Russian, so was unaware of the literal translation. Thanks for the information.

  • @threelegsoman

чтобы зазубрить текст, не надо учить язык, i believe :)

  • @LesediLoFi Thanks. If you have not already done so, check out Ivan Rebroff. He has the widest range of voice I have ever heard.

  • @northwest24 If you are not seeing the lyrics and chords, you need to enable annotations which is done by hovering your pointer over the appropriate square at the bottom right side of the video. It looks like an up arrow. Then hover over the top symbol offered and enable annotations.

  • Uuuu, bad, so bad... This is not good in english. Fantastic in russish, but this is bad :(

  • This may be so, but as I do not speak Russian but like the song I can only sing it in English. Sorry you do not like it.

  • What are you talking about, pavi131313? I find it so brilliant, being able to find the right lyrics in english to keep the rhythm. Not to forget his pretty good voice. It's impossible not to appreciate such a masterpiece. I can finally sing along hehe, since me neither can't speak russian!

  • Loved your version of this song! Please could you post the chords as i'd really like to learn how to play it?

  • great job man - i'll try this - i really like your dynamics and tempo control

  • *****

  • Fantastic stuff :) I happen to be learning this on the fiddle right now too...

  • As a young soldier during the cold war I spent a year learning Russian full-time. I was also in the school's choir and we performed at local events with this song included in our repertoire. Our instructor was never satisfied with our attempts to record it since there were so many voices, so many actions with flags flying, feet stomping, and voices shouting, HEY!

Thanks for the memory, Tony. :)

  • Glad to do so Ger

  • wow awesome music!

  • Thank you Michael for your kind comment
