It was an amazing movie. It sounded lame...like a combination of a super hero movie (which I usually hate) and a coming-of-age teen movie (which are hit and miss for me). But it was something that I really wasn't expecting, and overall, I absolutely loved it. I can't wait for a sequel, and I hope there is one!

In the rest of the English-speaking world the 'c' word, if used as an insult, is almost always directed at men, not women. Go to the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand etc and you will almost never hear someone using it to refer to a woman.

Huge fan of the comic, been reading it since it came out and the movie, while being very good in a lot of ways, changed the background and motivation of some characters, changed many of my favourite parts of the story in the comic, left out one line that almost brought tears to my eyes when I read it, probably the most powerful part in the comic and they just leave it out and they add something that is retarded as shit. It is amazing at parts but HORRIBLE at others, another shit adaptation.

Why even care about the fanboys trashing her for criticizing 300? 300 was yet another movie that was very shallow and full of fancy imagery but little else. The new standard among fanboys is if a movie's fun, it's GREAT. They love movies before they've even seen them and can't stand anyone disagreeing with them. Most of them lack credibility.
