@Hofsteder Well thats your opinion. And my opinion is that I think he looks like an ass making faces like that while playing the piano.Dont get me wrong,I understand performers make faces.I'm a professional musician myself(guitarist and pianist),and I know I make faces when I play, but wow, this guy really lays it on thick! Someone needs to tell this guy to have sex or masturbate before he goes onstage. His facial grimaces are distracting, and they dont line up with the sentiment of the music.
@mrbrianmccarthy I work for a songwriting company that contracts to FILM/TV and commercials lol. Do us all a favor and die, the world became a shitty place when you were born. Have a nice day.
I HATE pianists that make these kinds of grimaces when they perform. Get real. How disgusting and irritating!! If I'm at a performance,.I dont need to see this guys "Orgasm" while he is playing. Its distracting, and draws too much attention away from the music. Let the music do the talking.
@mrbrianmccarthy If you don't like his facial expressions, you can always go fuck yourself with a big rubber dildo, then break said dildo in half out of your ass and beat yourself to death with it.
This movement is one of my favourites of all Mozart's works. There are some truly wonderful moments that seem to spring up from nowhere. The feeling and images within the music are very clear to me. Best not to look but to listen only.
Most of the best songs ever written were usually one of the last ones or had a special connection from the composer itself. This is truly is amazing and I'm so happy to have heard it :) It does feel like soft rain of hearts from heaven. Superb! Thanks for posting it ;)
It goes a bit too slow for my taste, but nevertheless, they - Madzar and Previn - certainly understand the divine Master. The 21th is awsome, but this concerto is the most beautiful piece of music ever. Only Mozart himself in K550, K488, K581 and K516 has written anything like it. The string section is absolutely heartbreaking. His last and most wonderful concerto, performed not at his own whole concerto performances, but at someone elses', today totally forgotten clarinettists...
Mozart é o maior milagre que já existiu em termos de perfeição de conexões cerebrais para se fazer música. É a real prova do amor de Deus aos homens!
In English (sorry any error, gentlemens!)
Mozart is the greatest miracle in brain conections to make music. God save the Broca´s area of Mozart´s brain! I believe that his compositions are the best proof of the Love of God by humans!
He isn´t from Austria. He is from Heaven. Hugs from Brazil!
Grateful to respond with a video to this true swan song. This part of the film documents the last days of Kenji Mizoguchi; poignant accounts from coworkers set against Mozart's Largettho.
A simple playfull melody, calm, yet in a path of discovery. Like a little child, free of inhibitions, calm, virgin, yet full of wisdom, searching and dicovering all things around it.
Just close your eyes at time mark 4.00 until 7.00 and see yourself on the same path of discovery, as the piano leads your steps and the other instruments are either behind, reluctant but following, or up front, coloring the next finding.
No doubt about it, this is masterful, elegant, deeply expressive and stylish playing of an order that we rarely encounter today. I never thought such mooning and swaying around could be coupled to greatness, but here is the proof.
Divine Master of Music, to think that you couldn't play this the most beautiful of all piano concertos in the world, at your own subscription concerts like in 1784-85. They weren't interested! Wtf got into the vienneese...?
I am more at ease with Guldas 'embroidering', Mozart himself probably did that. That said, this version is extremely well played.
This movement belongs to nothing terrestrial, it's a pure rain of gold and light, falling from the heart of heavens, the sublime goodbye before the last travel.
Beautiful performance of this divine composer's valedictory piano concerto played here by this wonderful pianist with so much sensitivity, and ably accompanied by both conductor, maestro Previn and orchestra. sd goh (malaysia)
...if he isn't, then he surely would like to be - that was my first thought.
Great performance overall. A good pianist reaches right into the notes, just as he's doing - serviced or not. His theatrics are largely influenced by Ushida, imho.
That is why everyone is "ahemming" at the end...they are unsettled at seeing someone experience bliss that almost seems orgasmic..and the music is truly so beautiful to listen, to play it must really be a feeling likened to sex, I don't think he is faking it fo the sake of showmanship..
I could fuck with the pianist all night long hearing Mozart!

Listen to the music; such music has nothing to do with something so banal as criticism of a performer's facial expressions.

@Byron10301 No friend, Mozart euphoria is like Holy Spirit, it has nothing to do with bodily orgasms. Orgasms in the brain and thyriodea rather...
