And my point is just because we're descended from a group of immigrants doesn't make our right to be indigenous peoples to a given land any less worthwhile. I used the example of Native Americans because there are scholars in North America (such as Tom Flanagan in Canada) who argue that instead of considering Natives as indigenous peoples with special and
exclusive rights, they should just be considered "first immigrants". Iceland and the Faroe Islands had no previous inhabitants before the Norse. Neither did the Falkland Islands before the British. I suppose those people have no claim to their territories? They're just immigrants. Maybe we should just have let the Argentinians have them?
If you can't, then my point is the English, Welsh, Irish and Scots of these Isles are the indigenous peoples and rightful owners of these Isles. It doesn't excuse abuse or violence towards others, but in my opinion it does give the British people the right to democratically oversee the immigration process to insure they aren't being overwhelmed demographically or threatened by evil ideologies like Islam. It is their right to vote BNP and I encourage them to do so.
