you sound good!!! i enjoyed this! i gave you a 5/5 despite you and i were arguing earlier. i love this tune. you played it well. i noticed in other comments thst you are a fan of lucky peterson. i am too!
really nice vid, could have given it a bit more drive but cool tho. Btw, JR, I dont know if you know, but you should check Lucky Peterson out, he also plays with fingers but hes a demigod. I have seen him live and I was like :-O if you have a chance to see him live, do it, you wont regret ;) Cheers and keep on bluesin
Excellent my friend! really enjoyed watching! Nice timing, i see you got that Jeff Beck finger picking jams going bro, gotta hand it to ya- you Rock! Best Regards -Thomas p.s. Eddie Grey sent me here
UAU.nice one. I like that groove thats what I like. Iam gonna try to learn it. Thats gonna take a big while cause I haven't got the skill neither the ears. Thankx for sharing
Wow - both versions are fantastic, really like them both. It's awesome you were inspired by Sam singing this when he was only 7 years old! Cool. Sam is 11yrs old now and still this song is a great crowd-pleaser. Thanks for sharing - good stuff. (Sams mom).
Nice ideas, nice technique. Now just pretend your 60 and DOG tired from being on the road all those years and jaded with all the women you've schtuped and all beer and wine you've consumed... Lay on the BACK end of the beat - almost late - and you'll be KILLIN'. Listen to Albert King's 'Years Gone By' album, then hit me back.
What I call this, is excellent: Call and response playing between vocal and melody (improvisation). Both versions I liked, also like your toggling between the pick-ups getting different-functional Sounds, very nice playing, great rhythm feel, greets from Holland,Vic.
very nice, I am with you there are some good things in both jams, this one i thought maybe the fills followed the meldoy line more, whereas in 1 they were more filling in the gaos in the melody, both good apporaches, well done my blues brother!
This is the first video of yours that I have seen, and this is some fine, fine guitar playing. Beautiful, beautiful. Congratulations!
By the way, could you shoot yourself more directly from the front so some of the rest of us could try to get just a tiny piece of that for ourselves?
Thanks for the video!

That was excellent!!
I wish I would of started with the fingers instead of the pick on guitar when I first started playing.
I've been mostly a bass player and use my thumb constantly to get get the feel and the tone.
