  • Over time, the removal of an engine on a push pull thats ran with another push pull with both it's engines will reak havok on the transmissions.

  • thats why you lock the tranny in second gear

  • I suppose that makes sense they want to keep the iron rollin. Sucks for the guy that has to run the beast, Hope the cushion hitch works well!!!

  • Update: The new rear motor has gone bang and been removed. Scraper has been christened 637 Lite.

  • It blew up I think. It has since been replaced. As australia is flat out at the moment digging minerals out of the ground, anything that can move dirt will be deployed. even getting tyres for these things is difficult and expensive. Try $30000 or more a tyre. a new new 637 comes in at a cool 1.2 million aussie Bucks. given these conditions, an owner would be mad to leave one laying idle for want of a rear motor.

  • I have heard the same thing about tire availability. Over here a company called North American has a crew dedicated to searching the world for tires to bring back home, mostly for oilsands work.

Great video! one of the better ones about push-pulls.

  • Why is the front 37 missing the rear engine?
