Obama is right; the economic expansion has benefited the rich, not the average American. Average Americans have benefited from extra CREDIT, not better paying jobs. So, we now have a situation where thousands of people are in too much debt.

Rich people are buying up stocks, small businesses and real estate since they have cash & still have credit ...and failing businesses and foreclosed houses are cheap. Five years from now they will be even richer, while most people will still be in debt.
