LOL, Its not a traditional "Native American" wedding ceremony from any Native tribe or nation. I think they called it "Native American" ceremony because the actual chick, Tara, incorporated "NAtive American" stuff into her wedding.... Sounds like New Age pooplah to me. Just ends up misleading people, especially since dumbass TLC decides to put up the wrong video! They need to change the title, description, & tags fast! Either way both videos will still mislead people...

everyone tlc put up the wrong video...Tara is the one with a native american wedding....she's the black girl and did the native american ceremony for her and her asian groom in order to give thanks to the universe for bringing them together :)

I guess what I'm saying is that if there is over 500 federally recognized native american tribes, then how can you claim to be the authority on traditional native ceremonies (when there are so many)?

What's the big deal about a wedding? Why in the world would anyone want2get married? It's like being married2aroommate, only it's your spouse&Uhave no freedom2do ANYthing bcuz they always want2know where UR@& what you're doing. No privacy, & there's always some1 there getting in your way;& they never get out of your life even when you divorce. Marriage is over-rated. People just do it out of peer pressure; cuz every1 else is doing it & if U don't, then people think something's wrong with U.

Bccaundefined: Did I say marriage equals social death? I just don't think everyone should get married out of peer pressure, but that's what most people do. They feel pressured to get a husband/wife, have kids, get a house, the dog, then two cars, etc etc. And then if you don't do it, then people think there's something wrong with you; and that's not really fair to place that on someone. I don't think people should marry just because everyone's doing it.

@BabyGirlGoddess It is the wrong couple. In the episode, it is the African American who had a "Native American" ceremony. In reality, even that wasn't a true "Native American" ceremony. More like they chose bits and piecesof it to incorporate into their wedding.
