Yeah! It's one of the things that pleasantly surprised us! We just posted a couple of before/after photos from after the 4th month to our blog. You can really see the facial changes clearly there — especially with Jared. I posted a link in the description :)
Just found this and had a few questions. What is your height, and what was the weight difference between beginning and end? Lastly, what was the time period between each set? I see you say 90 days, but at the beginning are the two side-by-sides a month or two or what? Thanks! I'm in the same boat as you (skinny dude - 5'11" and 135-144 lbs depending on the week/month)
At around 1:23 your pecs got a lot bigger. What exersise did you do most for pecs and how often did you do it? Thanks man. And also how many reps? Thanks.
@Honeebuket We started off doing flat bench and weighted dips, mainly. If you check out the previous video you can see all the exercises. 5x5 bench worked wonders for us a couple months after this video, too.
Eating frequently is the best way to go to avoid putting on extra fat as you bulk up. You could certainly eat less often, if you like, and still get great results. Or, you can do like we did, and cook in bulk / have quick easy meals. And the gym doesn't take long at all. A half hour or hour a couple times a week is all you'd need. Besides, eating better and being more active will make you far more productive — you'll have more time than before.
I'm a college student, who has the time or money to eat 6 times a day? That's 40 times a week. I'm 5'10 145 but I want a serious way to get up to 170 without gorging myself 6 times a day and living in the gym. I have shit to do I can't be at the gym all the time and buying food
Hey I love the way you guys edited the videos with like the names of the exercises. I used to workout but I wasn't gaining muscle at all. I was wondering If you guys could post meal tips and videos about that.
p.s. keep up the good work! best fitness video on youtube!
i agree completely with the person below me. the key to gaining muscle is eating 1000-2000 calories over your maintance levels, and doing these key exercises and not much else: deadlifts, squats, bench press, overhead press, cleans, bent over rows. if you eat 4000-5000 calories a day, NOT FAST FOOD BUT CLEAN FOOD , and do those exercises, you will look different in a year's time.
guys make sure you start at around 16 to 18 years old if you are late start anyways, is better late than never. Make sure no matter what that you do squats, deadlifts, and clean and press. eat six times a day(like evrey 21/2 - 3 hours). and sleep..basically work out like a beast, eat like a pig and sleep like a lion so you can become a monster and dont quit...i was 19 and was 145 pounds at 5'10 today am 30 and am 215 at 5'10 and 1/4..it works if you do it right..heavy low reps lots of rest days.
@super1range I'm that 35 second guy, and I know what you mean. I wish I had taken before pictures when I first first started trying to put on muscle. I spent a couple years sporadically trying to gain weight here and there without much luck. Finally figured out the right way to do it. We just just finished our four month program. I'll post a link in the description. Check it out :)
wow very big improvments nice job bro. Im 130 at 20 years old been 130 since around 13 or so, and seriously starting to think i need to get at least another 15-20 pounds.
