Craig does a wonderful job reflecting the uniqueness and interests of the viewing audience. He often has me laughing far more than Letterman, and it's almost a shame to have to wait through the Late Show to get to the Late Late Show.

I find Letterman SO boring. I like the Late Late how way better than the Late show. I find it almost painful to watch Lettermen try to be funny. I like laughing along with Craig throughout the show and the interviews aren't so scripted and dry.

Really? I don't find Lettermans interviews interesting at all. I kinda of like the unrehearsed, conversational tone of the Ferguson interviews. The Letterman interviews tend to be too generic for me. Craig's interviews regularly are off-topic and off-kilter so they are unique. His conversations with the guest are never the same as any other talk show host. Letterman often gets the same information as Leno I've noticed.

Of course, it all comes down to personal preferment.

But there is also the time placement. Craig can do what he does so well because he's not as constrained to commercial considerations as the Late Show time segment.

I deeply respect Craigs improvising and apparently not pre-considered stance on interviews. Most of the time I also enjoy them. After all, he's a drummer. They tend to be that way.

True...it's all personal preference. And while I appreciate that Letterman is obligated to plug the products. I find the fact that he is so constrained to be a negative...but I suppose that is just me.
