when you check your brakes like that its best to have the maxi brake off when you do it but it seems to be taking alot of air out of the primary when you pump the brakes... napa would carry the air dryer filter if you guys have them in the states. over here in canada there are international truck centers all over the place. not sure what its like there tho.. try navistar
That is a Haldex Pure Air Plus Dryer. The cartridge on top is in a kit which is part number DQ6036. Napa or Oreilly should carry that... Yes, the air will leak from there because those lines are pressurized at all times. After the system spits (opens the purge valve), the purge valve will stay open and hiss excess pressure for a minute or two.
