i haven't use cd's in a long time, i hate it and this is perfect for me. the x340 is the one i gonna get.... i don't understand why cd's is still around...

everything should be on flash memories by now. CD drive for laptops is just stupid.... takes allot of power from the poor laptop and takes to much space. CD's should die alont time ago or been replaced by smaller ones, like the UMD from sony psp.... but with blueray technic or similar.

with 8gb or 16gb flash drives being fairly cheap and 1tb external hds, it's better to remove dvd drives on thin models and netbooks.
