Ive just seen this episode in New Zealand (yep, we are a year behind) and I just couldn't believe the talent they voted off within that group of 50, and talent that move on!!! Truth be known, I really don't want to watch further episodes after that... so Ill just see who won via YouTube. I think its great someone recognized how children are treated and did something about it (this video), and even better... someone listened and made the appropriate changes. KA KITE ANO
wow i can't even believe somebody really made this video. I think this little girl was very talented also, but come on! It sucks when anybody with talent has to go home- adults and kids. Unfortantley not everyone can win at everything. The show can't make everyone a winner. And that shouldn't have made her feel like a failure if her parents raised her right.

I think that it would be way to much stress on an 8 year old girl to have to have a busy scedule. She is still loved and still can sing. mabey this was a blessing in disguise that she didn't win. god has a plan for her and it will happen when it happens

Here I don't agree with you. They praise her and the performance was certainly worth it. The last selection is based on a good spread of performances so every round has some kids en some children will be disappointed. If there are children who are more than just sad and disappointed I find shame in their parents not in AGT. Everyone can be send home in a competition like this and if you feel your child is not capable of handling that you should not let your child compete.
Nobody is holding a gun to anyone's head and telling them to go on this show... they get flown to Vegas for free too. so everyone needs to quit their bitching saying "omg this show is dumb it rips out peoples hearts" they will get over it and maybe work harder if they really want it that bad.

No one should be flown to Vegas only to be told to leave. But it's a show. No matter when people lose a talent show, they still have to deal with that heart break. For kids, its parents who sign them up and who should explain that life isn't fair, but the world isn't going to fall apart. Should the show be only for +18 yrs? If so, it should be true for all talent shows, which means we may never have discovered amazing child performers throughout history. So stop being so butt hurt.
It must have been a tough decision to make, but all the kids parents knew it was a big possibility that their kid wouldn't win the whole thing. Just because they didn't win does not mean they are gonna give up and think they failed. I know for a fact that little Tman will be a great musician and very big some day.
this is beyond pathetic. it is a competition. there is one winner. you can very easily have a great audition, wow the judges, and still not be good enough. plus when the winner is getting a show in vegas, it makes little sense to send a kid all the way thru unless they are above and beyond anything else in the competition
AGT needs to distinguish talent among those who have the maturity to face the path they are on. Young adults are still crushed but, have the intellectual capacity, if not necessarily the maturity, to understand their situation. Children do not. Anyone who has ever taken a first year college course in Psychology, required for almost any degree, knows this. Regardless, this young lady has an amazing voice. I just hope her attempts to please do not cost her more than she can bear.
As you just said, this girl is doing well. The world is cruel sometimes, but also kids have to get used to it, and they must learn how to handle it. And, like you say, she did.

ok, here is the deal i agree that she should have made it further in the compition but the key word here is compition and everyone knows going into this that there is a possibility of being eliminated so you should start preparing yourself from the very beginning, and its like they say no publicity is bad publicity and im sure we will hear from her again, she is too talented not to.

Yes she is good but if she is going to be a professional she cannot be given special privelages just because she is a little kid. As to the judges comments would you rather have them insult her and tell her she was terrible? What you seem to forget is when it comes down to it is yes the judges decide who stays during the auditions but from than on it's decided by the votes by the viewers.
dude these kids sign up for this knowing they might get kicked off. its how the show goes. they can't all be winners, they have to narrow it down slowely, it is their fault but screw off, thats how the show works!
EXACTLY, even if all of the people that get kicked off might be fabulous, unfortunatly, some people are better then them, and the people that think just because they got kicked means they have to give up their dream are stupid. Ciana was great! And if she wants to give up her singing talent because she got kicked of would be her choice but not a very good one. Im kind of against this videos purpose.
@autman123 it is a harsh competition, but that's the nature of the show and real life :( it's unpleasant, but I suppose it's just what happens. I'm glad that she's such a strong little girl. She certainly has a career ahead of her with that determination. However, I do agree with lavalampsyo. And with such supportive friends and family, this video really doesn't have to exist.

Keep in mind, this is not a child school pagent, play, or talent show. This is a show where all ages compete. Where an 8 year old with 4 years of limited experience may have to compete with maybe a 40 year old pro with over 23 years of professional hard earned entertainment experience. To place a child, no matter how good they are, in a real world competition, you must be willing to take the fall. Usually children are not prepared for such let downs. The fault lies on the parents in my opinion.
Before you start saying shame on you to America's Got Talent, you should look into your own back yard and see where the shame really lies. To actually enroll your own children in a competition competing with acts well trained for many years is very irresponsible to begin with. This is not soccer, moms, this is professional entertainment folks!

2nd not all the acts have trained for many years.
3rd Bianca Ryan who won the debut season of NBC's America's Got Talent at age eleven in 2006.
4th Talent shows like The Original Amateur Hour started on tv in 1952- 1970 the program set the stage for numerous programs seeking talented stars such as Star Search, American Idol and America's Got Talent.
All these shows for all these years have had children on them and treated them with respect.
They did not tell them they where the best they had ever seen and look for a house for your parents, and then fly them all the way to Vegas just to put them back on a plane and send them home.
They could have told them in New York, what was the trip to Vegas for torture !.
None of the other shows would have done that to kids.
Peoples dreams should not be toyed with this way.
This kind of behavior is just not cool and probably not going to improve their ratings.

I think what they did was actually pretty thoughtful as fair as TV shows go. The acts were ok compared to the others but not Win-Worthy. Instead of shaming and embarassing them in front of a HUGE audience, they did it more privately. Shitty yes.. but even shittier is a PARENT who is supposed to PROTECT their child taking a chance on their kid getting hurt for a few bucks. I just found out America's Got Talent and Vdovina have removed Ciana Pelekai singer,Tallen Noble Latz, guitar, and Kari Callin 43 singer, and many others videos.
Kari and Ciana's video's are still on here, I just watched them. I did save Kari's right after the show and I think it is ashamed what they did to those people, I really do. Kari was disqualified not by her voice, but her looks. Even Sharon on the plane said that, but they still booted her off.

You're such a moron... the point was not to get carried away sending so many people through to Las Vegas to have to do what they did. The judges should have been more selective from the beginning. This way no children would have been hurt and further, if the idea of kids performing in Las Vegas is disturbing , set an age limit.

Here I don't agree with you. They praise her and the performance was certainly worth it. The last selection is based on a good spread of performances so every round has some kids en some children will be disappointed. If there are children who are more than just sad and disappointed I find shame in their parents not in AGT. Everyone can be send home in a competition like this and if you feel your child is not capable of handling that you should not let your child compete.

No one should be flown to Vegas only to be told to leave. But it's a show. No matter when people lose a talent show, they still have to deal with that heart break. For kids, its parents who sign them up and who should explain that life isn't fair, but the world isn't going to fall apart. Should the show be only for +18 yrs? If so, it should be true for all talent shows, which means we may never have discovered amazing child performers throughout history. So stop being so butt hurt.

It must have been a tough decision to make, but all the kids parents knew it was a big possibility that their kid wouldn't win the whole thing. this is beyond pathetic. it is a competition. there is one winner. you can very easily have a great audition, wow the judges, and still not be good enough. plus when the winner is getting a show in vegas, it makes little sense to send a kid all the way thru unless they are above and beyond anything else in the competition

AGT needs to distinguish talent among those who have the maturity to face the path they are on. Young adults are still crushed but, have the intellectual capacity, if not necessarily the maturity, to understand their situation. Children do not. Anyone who has ever taken a first year college course in Psychology, required for almost any degree, knows this. Regardless, this young lady has an amazing voice. I just hope her attempts to please do not cost her more than she can bear.

YES, she is a fabulous singer & should definitely keep singing, but if U think that this is child abuse then maybe she should just stay home, cause I guaranty nothing will come easy 4 her or any other talented kid. Parents you are warned, you can't win everything, you don't want your kid to lose then lock them in their rooms and never let them out.

I understand that not everybody is going to make it through, but when you have such a overwhelming response like the judges gave her, it makes no sense to send her all the way to Vegas just to send her home.
Some of the acts they kept were so bad it really makes you wonder what were they thinking ?.
I hope they judges do a better job this year and reserve their best comments to those who will make it to the big show.

Yes she is good but if she is going to be a professional she cannot be given special privelages just because she is a little kid. As to the judges comments would you rather have them insult her and tell her she was terrible? What you seem to forget is when it comes down to it is yes the judges decide who stays during the auditions but from than on it's decided by the votes by the viewers.

@autman123 it is a harsh competition, but that's the nature of the show and real life :( it's unpleasant, but I suppose it's just what happens. I'm glad that she's such a strong little girl. She certainly has a career ahead of her with that determination. However, I do agree with lavalampsyo. I think that you were the one who took things personally if anything. lavalamps made a pretty objective commentary. And with such supportive friends and family, this video really doesn't have to exist.

Keep in mind, this is not a child school pagent, play, or talent show. This is a show where all ages compete. Where an 8 year old with 4 years of limited experience may have to compete with maybe a 40 year old pro with over 23 years of professional hard earned entertainment experience. To place a child, no matter how good they are, in a real world competition, you must be willing to take the fall. Usually children are not prepared for such let downs. The fault lies on the parents in my opinion.

To actually enroll your own children in a competition competing with acts well trained for many years is very irresponsible to begin with. 2nd not all the acts have trained for many years.
3rd Bianca Ryan who won the debut season of NBC's America's Got Talent at age eleven in 2006.
4th Talent shows like The Original Amateur Hour started on tv in 1952- 1970 the program set the stage for numerous programs seeking talented stars such as Star Search, American Idol and America's Got Talent.
All these shows for all these years have had children on them and treated them with respect.

I think what they did was actually pretty thoughtful as fair as TV shows go. The acts were ok compared to the others but not Win-Worthy. Instead of shaming and embarassing them in front of a HUGE audience, they did it more privately. Shitty yes.. but even shittier is a PARENT who is supposed to PROTECT their child taking a chance on their kid getting hurt for a few bucks. How about they get a job instead of living off their kids talent. Business is business.

Seriously, it s not the show's fault they are being honest. She was good enough to make it to the 2nd round but not good enough to finish. Did you SEE the final acts? they were way better.
Yea I feel bad for her but not because of the judges they are doing their job. Her idiot parents should have known she wasn't mature enough to handle rejection.
Poor parenting is the culprit here.

i just found out that tallon latz was on this show and now i found out he got booted. It sucks but its not the end of his career. Just because that girl didn't win doesn't mean she will fail for the rest of her life, These people should be happy for the exposure. They should do away with the million dollar reward. The exposure is enough.

I just found out America's Got Talent and Vdovina have removed Ciana Pelekai singer,Tallen Noble Latz, guitar, and Kari Callin 43 singer, and many others videos.
NBC & Vdovina have removed all videos with more than 50,000 views. The have done this on purpose to control the show. This is a outrage and a monopoly on all of us You Tube Viewers. NBC gave Vdovina the use of their trade mark© NBC Universal, Inc. 2009 so they could control all the top viewed videos.Now their all gone.

Kari and Ciana's video's are still on here, I just watched them. I did save Kari's right after the show and I think it is ashamed what they did to those people, I really do. Kari was disqualified not by her voice, but her looks. Even Sharon on the plane said that, but they still booted her off.

My complaint Mr Wizzard is that all three judges made this little girl sound like she was the next best thing to gold so they could fly her all the way to Vegas to put her back on the plane and send her home crying. For What ! what was the point of sending them to Vegas. Did you happen to see the real crap show tonight. What a waist of time only two acts were even close to the talent of Ciana, Kari or Noble.

You're such a moron... the point was not to get carried away sending so many people through to Las Vegas to have to do what they did. The judges should have been more selective from the beginning. This way no children would have been hurt and further, if the idea of kids performing in Las Vegas is disturbing , set an age limit.

what's the name of the little boy that plays guitar?, He was one of my favs . I hope they give him another chance. In one of the programs the producer didn't agree with the judges maybe that's way they bringing them back.
