@rocketdog234 Are you using a firewall (built into your Mac) this is the most likely cause for the application not working. If so, please adjust your settings so that Messenger is an allowed application.

@RodroVargas Hi, As far as I know, you can download either of the 2 versions, it won't matter. However - I would recommend 7.0.2 as this is a stable release, and 8 is currently only in beta - anything could go wrong!

you can search for the beta version of messenger mac 8, but thats about the only way to get video and audio on msn, and it's really buggy
