  • this isint half as good as the grey high school orchestra performing it.

  • We're playing this for my spring orchestra concert next month!! >w< Except, it's just string instruments.

I'm really excited, it's going to be my last middle school performance before I go to high school. x3

  • Great quality, though some minor flubs in places and tuning issues.

  • I think this is an excellent recording..very musical..however, the horn playing was appaling. cracks and beaks every where. The octave hits were never in tune.

However, overall it was good. Oboe/cor angalis was wonderful, celli and basses kept it even the whole time.

  • Well done. Nearly as good as London Philharmonic!! Beautiful, eerie, powerful and redolent. Wish I could have seen you do Scheherezade esp MVT 3 in March. Best piece of music ever composed Mvt 3 along with Moonlight Sonata IMO. Where in Seattle do you play? I have been to Lake Sammamish many times and wandered around Marymoor Park on visits from UK to my brother in Redmond.

Love the park-so peaceful. Also Idlewood Park I think. Again, well done you interpret it so well -majesty and serenity.

  • Thanks for the fine words. We mainly perform at the Eastlake Performing Arts Center in Sammamish (up the hill from Lake Sammamish to the plateau). We also play a summer pops concert in Pine Lake Park.

  • Thanks for reply. This is the best version IMO I can find on this site.

  • Indeed! I'm proud of this version.

  • beautiful English Horn solo. love this piece! good job! wonderful oboe too! (I play both instruments) :)
