Obama is exceptional. He always comes off as genuine and not phony like Bush. His communication skills and ability to speak substantively without any notes or prepared speech is remarkable. I have been unemployed since July 4, 2010 because of job sourcing. Obama signed a deal with India to increase job outsourcing because he claimes it increases American jobs! The Jobs Act will destroy America unless regulations are made to insure the jobs proposed are for American People in America!
I read the entire bill. It does not say any where that those jobs have to be in America for American workers. With the curent tax brakes provided to companies who outsource American jobs the new jobs act increases those tax brakes! so a company that thought they might outsource, will finally say, hey we don't have to pay taxes any more if we fire our American employes and hire people in Saudia Arabia!

And it allows officials to waive Buy American rules at anytime so the jobs act money can be used to buy foreign materials (Sec4C) .The CEO of General Electric is on record for stating he wants Buy America changed so more can be imported from China. While train workers associations want the Buy America changed so there are no exceptions for steel parts from China.
Tax the profits of importers. Use the money to fund education and displaced workers. If a company makes 80% of its money from importing then its profits should be taxed 80%. Send a message that says companies should not be making profits from putting Americans out of work.

Part of the jobs act buys high speed trains from China. The train parts come to America are assembled by low wage Americans. It would be better to make the entire trains in America instead of importing parts from China.

I read the entire bill. It does not say any where that those jobs have to be in America for American workers. With the curent tax brakes provided to companies who outsource American jobs the new jobs act increases those tax brakes! so a company that thought they might outsource, will finally say, hey we don't have to pay taxes any more if we fire our American employes and hire people in Saudia Arabia!

@shyla4us The bill does have a Buy American provision. However it does allow steel parts to be bought from China. And it allows officials to waive Buy American rules at anytime so the jobs act money can be used to buy foreign materials (Sec4C) .The CEO of General Electric is on record for stating he wants Buy America changed so more can be imported from China. While train workers associations want the Buy America changed so there are no exceptions for steel parts from China.

Tax the profits of importers. Use the money to fund education and displaced workers. If a company makes 80% of its money from importing then its profits should be taxed 80%. Send a message that says companies should not be making profits from putting Americans out of work.

And read CSIRO data on CO2 data from November 1979 to November 2010 & also data from Mauna Loa Hawaii. There's no better real data showing CO2 relationship to climate change. 92% correct.The computer predictions are wrong.

Why speak at link-in? The tiny company does little for America's economy. Obama should be speaking at California's silicon factories and providing suggestions about how to stop jobs from going overseas. Just recently another California high tech company said its move its company to India to save money ( increase profits).
