To you I recommend looking into your video game history, back to the days when Mario was the most hardcore thing out there. In my mind, appreciating a well-made or well-concieved game, series, or concept is in every way more mature than whatever is considered "hardcore" by today's standards. That is to say, I'd much rather play an innovative or challenging "kid's" game than play a mainstream game excessive in gore and bloodshed.

I'm gonna be honest. But I found Spiderman 2 the movie, the game, the movie, the game. Very boring. I don't understand what's so good about the web swinging. It's so akward and stiff. Jumping felt weird and combat was... Ok I guess. But it isn't something I would replay. The movie was great, but the game was... Meh. Sure it's open ended, but when I complete games that are open ended I ussually play the story again. Why? Because I get bored swinging around all day. Again, sorry. Just my opinion.
