  • 2 people died yesterday in a totally unrelated freak accident.

  • @Randynewmanishungry why so angry

  • just beautiful :D

  • chords anyone?

  • @Randynewmanishungry Just how the hell do you know where he went? Did you visit him there? Maybe you were there when he arrived? I wonder, who appointed you judge? Are you god or maybe your Jesus Christ? I didn't think so. Cast that first stone there hypocrit.

  • @Randynewmanishungry what disgrace for you say them words you out to burn in hell

  • This was Waylon Jenning's Nashville era when he coloured within the lines.I actually like a lot of this material much better.

  • Here's another Waylon song I just discovered and fell in love with!

  • The suit, the hair, the guitar, the music.........the epitome of cool.

  • Really loved his early years. Just too handsome to wear all that facial hair.

    Love this song.

  • Beautiful song...nothing else to say

  • My kind of man! WOO WOO!

One groupie that slept with various stars wrote the Waylon Jennings was a

magnificent and wonderful lover! I believe her!

  • @Bandtrip50

What a dumbass comment to post............

  • @jacksonking61537

Are you jealous because not one woman has made that comment about YOU?

    Hahaha

  • @Bandtrip50 LOL I think I read that book. Well read is too big word .I just skipped it to Waylon part ha ha ha

  • This man is an icon to country and western and rock n rock. Im not a true admire of country music but this man is a legend and I will also admire his talent and admiration. Me and my father loved his music together. God RIP Waylon..

  • I think the ladies would concur that this guy got more tail than a toilet seat during this period of his career.

  • he looks so different! haha the best country ever!

  • love the old Waylon songs

  • I wonder why no one makes music like this anymore?

  • Did the artists actually sing while performing on these old music shows or was everything lip-synched like it is now? How 'bout the music. Was that actually played by a band or was it recorded?

  • i would do anything to meet him ! RIP :(

  • Leavin Town, from 1966 is a fantastic album, every song is good.

  • thanks for the tip...ime looking for his music from long ago...ure recommendation gets me one step closer to building my collection:)

  • You know I loved you as much as I could EVER LOVE ANYONE but I"m still gone.

    Waylon "the real deal" Jennings

    Listen and learn kids

  • The US today smokes to much crack, we need some Mental Revenge yeeee haaaaaw!

  • What a handsome man WAYLON was

  • Sonny James and his utterly stupendous Southern Gentlemen did this song in the motion picture, "Las Vegas Hillbillys" and it is truly one of country music's greatest moments. Only the likes of pure genius like Waylon could also do the song justice. He is greatly missed.

  • What a rebel. Rage on my man, Rage on. We miss you and your true rebel ways.

  • My favorite country singer ever. He might not have written that many famous songs, but of the songs he sang he sang all of them the best

  • my fav song

  • Why wasn't this included in the box set???? I feel cheated, damnit.

  • You must have the wrong box set. It is on the Bear Family Label Box Set - 6 CD The Journey "Destiny's Child"

    Fantastico.....!

  • Nashville still sucks to this day. Look at what good country artists they have produced? Very few. The best of the best were Nashville rebels! Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash.

  • He can sing! He is clear and doesn't slide, slur, growl, or strain.

  • Jeeeeez, from about 0:55 to 1:05 illustrates your point in a little 10 second package.

This is Waylon at the peak of his physical talents before the drugs started to affect him. His outlaw days were great, particularly lyrically, but his singing talents are at their best in the late 60's.

  • Yeh I always had a crush on him. I never stopped loving him even when I got married !

It's that cheeky wee smile of his it's yummy

    Miss you Waylon

  • I saw Waylon in Little Rock Ar. in 1968. I always had a crush on him. Very handsome in his younger days.

  • he was so handsome in these days, the way he looked in the camera and his eyebrows!

  • man he was and is the greatest

  • What a voice. Long live Waylon Frickin' Jennings.

  • Always liked his style, he did it his way, and didn't get caught up into all this "pretty boy image" marketing that so many women fall for.

  • Yeah, and a lot of women ended up falling for him anyway, so he had the last laugh!

    Waylon IS style.

  • when will all those gems be available on DVD ? Release them allready ! The Nashville Rebel DVD was fine but did not include his 60's period ...

  • cannot find the words to say how much I love his music and how much we miss him ...tear...

  • I ask myself this question all the time, and the answer is not obvious to me. It's a very well written song and delivered by one of the greatest voices I've ever heard. Great posting.

  • i wanna know the name of this show??? anyone??

  • "The Wilburn Brother's Show". Doyle and Teddy Wilburn had a weekly show in the 60's.

  • man, this is so classic

    Yip I'm a Waylon luvin female !

  • @oriantoo Hey Miss, I pick a little guitar ever' now and then, have a baritone/bass voice, and a smooth southern accent.

  • @oriantoo Calm down now!

  • geat song and so awsome.

  • You just don't find music like this anymore. THis older music of his is amazing. Thanks for posting it.

  • This is Waylon at his earliest and best. The song is from his first RCA album called Folk-Country which I bought new as a teen when it was released. I bought it when I first heard his first chart hit called "That's the Chance I'll Have to Take." It started a love affair with this man's music that lives today. I was hoping someone would also post that song.

  • got love that music, if you dont something wrong with ya!!!

  • Wow!!! Imagine that... A young clean shaven Waylon! That's something you don't see too often. Cool though... Such a great talented man.

  • Waylon Rules what a great song

  • Beaudaliscous gorgeous man! Watching him turns me into a drooling idiot.

  • What do you call the black thing by Waylon's right arm if not a pickguard? Where would I find one to buy?

  • yeah i think that's just a guard to keep your clothes from scratching your axe, don't know if you can buy em, that is an old school fender telecaster.. guess fender just decided to put it on there back in the day. you may be able to get em still, i'm not sure.

  • awesome

    he is young

  • The Eagle is the bomb!

  • my Waylon.....looking & sounding very yummy,as always! I love this song. Does anyone know where I can find a cd it's on? I think it may have been on "Folk Country", but I can't find it anywhere!

  • It is on folk-country that album from 1966. This one is hard to find. It may be under a different title. I just got Waylon at JDs. It was titled, "Money"

  • Hey....I found it on ebay a few weeks ago! It came in the mail about 2 days ago & I've just about worn it out already! :)

  • Waylon -the one and only! Great video of the greatest artist to walk this earth -second to Johnny...or beside! Love them both so much!! They`re jamming together now in Countryheaven -Elvis, Roy and Roger is backing them up!!!!

    -Waylon rules-

PS! Looking out for exchanging videos of him and others, feel free to contact me; hosscurtis(a)gmail(dot)com!

  • Love the voice and the good looks. How could any woman say "No" to him! He got better and better as he got older too. Lucky Jessi!

  • IMHO, the greatest male vocalist in the history of recorded country and western music. And his musical influences and interests were apparently so wide-ranging, too. A pure American original, but as the poet William Carlos Williams wrote, "The pure products of America go crazy." May he rest in peace, and Waylon, thanks for leaving us your music.

  • his voice gives me the chills---- i love this guy----and he makes it look so f-in easy---- waylon forever ---- this is real country--- 40 years old ---- it like good whiskey ---- aged to perfection ----- thank you for posting!!!!!

  • Waylon was just HOT as long as I remember him and that goes back a ways.

  • great! thx for sharing. Ive never seen this early clip before. What a great voice. I always like Waylons brief lead guitar licks..simple but suits the song.

  • its hard to believe him and richie valens made a coin toss to decide who went on the plane that ended 3 great singers in us history.....american pie.

  • Just love this Great voice

  • Thanks to all, who find and put videos like this on youtube--maybe just maybe a young cowboy, or cowgirl will drop in and hear what a REAL country song is all about!!

  • Talk about a turn-on!! Waylon didn't lack a thing in talent, personality, looks. Lots of range in his voice also. Can you imagine him flirting? Major meltdown. His voice fills the room. Thanks for everything, Waylon, you will LIVE ON!

  • Waylon has the Charisma of 10000 gentlemen!

  • What a great, great talent. Thank you.

  • For you folks who might not know, the gentleman introducing Waylon is none other than the late, great Doyle Wilburn, of The Wilburn Brothers, great classic country duo who had their own show back in the 60's. Man, I wish they'd put out a "Best of The Wilburn Brothers Show" on DVD so we could see more great clips like this one!!!

  • This show airs weekly on RFD-TV. It's on Dish Network, and some other outlets. I saw this very episode a few months ago. I really like the Wilburn's show, kinda like Porter's show without the flashiness. And you get to see all kinds of neat acts.

  • 1) awesome clip

    2) yes Waylon is the baddest

    3) the clean cut look looked badass as well as the outlow years

  • damn you, i got tears in my eyes. I love it!!!!!!!! thanks wookiecookie, waylon is hands down the baddest of them all

  • Thanks...thanks...THANKS!

  • class act

  • Waylon is a Texas Hero and Outlaw. Thanks for the clip.

  • never heard this song before...but I am glad I got to hear it....thanks so much for posting :)

  • amazing..where do people find these old rare clips??!!....thx for sharing!!
