I was so sad with how Charles Brandon treated Margaret. I sincerely believe that she was the greatest lesson he ever learned. After her death, he completely turned over a new leaf on his life and it changed him completely. He always regretted what he did because I think he loved her so much him mentioning her in the series finale after so much time had passed proves it to me! I wish they had kept it Margaret and chucked Catherine, his second wife on the show. I never liked her.

I love this show - but it's a bit far fetched. Henry was fat, ugly and ginger! Not an Abercrombie and Fitch model - people had rotting teeth, walked and lived amongst human filth - they never looked this good. Women were taught to lie and do nothing during sex (women didnt have sexual freedom till much later) yet this show has women performing sex as if they were free beings.

I utterly agree with you, the facts are not always respected by the adaptation, but the changes lead us to a universe of the Tudors and how they used to see people. They saw fat people beautiful then, now we considere beautiful when a person is thin. Rotting teeth were normal back then, now healthy teeth are normal. I think the creators of the show were thinking about that to film the show. I really enjoy it.
