  • Every loving interaction is an opportunity to train your German shepherd. You will be so totally rewarded!

  • GSD's are very easy to train. We paper trained a litter at 4 weeks old. I wish I could get them to sit and stay!

  • i want mine to be small again!!

  • This is a smart owner...you start training really early with GSDs and you'll have a four-legged human in your household. Early training and socializing (with people and other dogs) are both crucial. Owners who fail to do this wind up with mean, difficult GSDs, and at worst wind up getting sued.

  • i want one NOW !

  • @omifical124 I KNOW RIGHT. ;)

  • how'd you train him so quick!??

  • when my german shepherd was 4 weeks he know set and stay now he is 10 weeks and he know set, stay, down, and not to eat

  • @890050 I agree! They are the best dogs. Wow, 15 years old is very old for a German Shepherd! You must have taken very good care of him. My dog Kira was 14 when she died and we thought that was also very old for a German Shepherd.

  • @gazingabove

Btw I don't train with treats either, but who the hell are you to come in here like that.

  • @gazingabove

He's a idiot huh? Well thank god your here to tell us your smarter then everyone else.

  • So Cute!

  • @giselleb007 my years of professional dog training have showed me treats are not the way to go if you want a truly obedient dog. the bond is not created out of respect. believe me. verbal and non verbal praise is the way to go....

  • @gazingabove that is kinda true. my dog doesnt do a trick without treats. never does. she was trained be treats. but i agree with the others. it shows praise and ect. half and half.

  • @gazingabove that is kinda true. my dog doesnt do a trick without treats. never does. she was trained with treats. but i agree with the others. it shows praise and ect. half and half.

  • ugh another idiot using treats...great...

  • @gazingabove treats are actually a good way of training dogs...it motivates them and its a praise showing them they're doing a good so they carry on, as they get older you give them less and smaller treats while training until eventually they obey without them. (Y)

any breed can be trained this young. it just takes dedication and patience.

check out puppie prodigies to see even younger puppies being trained:)

  • @mga430

Maybe a boarder collie? xDD But I really have no idea

  • @mga430 border collie...

  • @mga430 My labrador almost at the same age learn that in less than 10 minutes and now he has 3 years with me and never forget that!

  • @mga430 haha maybe a border collie could. but you're right, GS are amazingly smart dogs

  • Comment removed

  • @mga430 maybe a bodercoli germans are third smartest second being poodles (the big ones) and first bodercoli but germans are the best my fav

  • how cute omggg

  • Well nice, love those dogs

  • hey nice pup

  • good jobb.. but isn't the pup a bit young to already be taken away from his mother? I know for a fact that it's highly recommended to pick up the pup when it's around 2 months old, it could cause anxiety or stress with the puppy which eventually can lead to a more depressed grown up dog.

  • Who's to say this guy doesn't also own the mother?? Duh.

  • perhaps, but it's not likely. And for the record, I wasn't accusing anyone, I only mentioned it in case of.

So don't try to be smart..

  • wow! thats amazing.

  • smart baby!

  • good boy
