They are all young & having great fun,and very brave!! I agree with the results,the girl in the gold could do with swaying her hips a little,and the other couple need to look more relaxed in their movements,but good on them! I wouldnt get up there!lol

@chox67 Can you believe that she came in second?!! But I certainly agree with the judges first pick. That couple was a bit harder to see in this video, but they were definitely the best of the group. It was fun watching the video - thanks for posting it.

none of these couples seem to have rockin in their blood...in my day we you cld see the music in their feet....what a let down now...sorry..

@chox67 Yeah, but we and all of our friends were dancing like that all the time - all the dances we went to had that kind of music, so we had more practice than this group probably does.

Although they dance well. The Viva Las Vegas Jivers seem to have crazier, faster and wilder moves!

Being a jiving final contest I expected to see better jivers...different from those one in the 90's...anyway it seems they are having ball :)

@smenne67 In general there are countless truly fantastic dancers who never ever bother entering dance contests. These weekender events are very informal, and only a small handfull out of 1000 plus dancers ever compete in the jive contest (of wildly varying standards). There is always controvacy, with everyone having different views about it all. It is only meant to be a bit of fun as you can see.

what a i really like about hemsby's jive contest is the people who dance really enjoy dancing..not just to pretend they are the best!

@lucilleontherocks Also when you consider how many really good dancers are at these weekenders, so few people ever actually enter the dance competitions. It's normally just a handful of entrants!
