  • une bombe ce morceau ..

  • The Parlor Mob goes viral.

  • Oh nothing MOM! Just some friends playing down in the basement, no big deal!

  • absolutely amazing!!! Can't wait for the new album. Please come to Kansas City!

  • reminds me of since i've been loving youuuu.. this is a beautiful song.

  • I love the version on the album... But that little bit of improve adds so much more to the music... Such a fantastic band... My mind has been thoroughly blown...

  • LIsten to the Widow by The Mars Volta, then listen to this, then you'll here it (and quite probably have an eargasm sometime in the process)

  • @bmwluvr2003 It's cause they're both in A minor.

  • @FollowersofDamu Actually I think they're in B minor, or at least this one is. But yeah, the fact that they're both in a minor key and have relatively similar tempos really contributes to their overall similarity. And I'm not accusing the Parlor Mob of plagiarism or anything, I think they're awesome and very creative.

  • fan fuckin tastic.

  • This song is so brilliant... just musically brilliant!

BUT THE LYRICS ARE SO MUCH STRONGER!

i took some time to read the lyrics with the song. and it is such a well politically written song!

about the war, about america, about poverty and the lack of care we have... im mind blown! all this stuff being just aligns with my views on the world.

  • LOVE ME SINGER-BOY!!

  • Since I've been loving you......I'm about to lose.....my worried mind OOOOOOHHHHHHH WHOOOAAAAA

  • where the fuck is the parlor mob? three years one album. wtf. it's one of two things. artist's block or corporate rock cock blockage due to the P-mob's true blue nature.

  • @kingny17 there coming out with a new album this year as they promised on their wikipedia

  • i hold great bands to high standards. Led Zep first two albums? in the same year. I knew wolfmother was gonna be lame after their 5 years on non-productivity. Too provincial (their music). But the P-mob I believe in with all my heart.

  • perfect song to listen to while stoned

  • I am happily surprised, they ARE good, and have that classic sound.

  • Tele + Orange Head = Me likey

  • This is my new favorite band, I'm pissed I didn't find out aout them sooner.

  • These guys are awsome

  • such a punch right in the belly!

  • exelent !

  • exelent

  • cant wait to hear more music from these guys

  • cool

  • tell me the blonde guitarist doesn't look like robert plant...especially in the "cant keep no good boy down" video

  • just dont stop and keep playin that good shit

  • this is so sick. so sick.

  • thats the weirdest druming i've ever seen XD hes awesome

  • Zou wel met deze gasten willen jammen... :)

I'd Like to jam with these guys :)

Keep the mojo flow going guys !!!

  • yeah man !! i can dig it

  • They sound like the god damn Parlor Mob.

  • goddamn, man.

    the epicness!!!!

  • this would make a good bond theme...

  • God, this is epic

  • check out the band waking nelson

  • goddamn...

and i thought bands like this no longer existed

  • The guitar solo is totally a la Jack White, and I agree with all the other comments that this song is very Volta-esque, I'd say it's a lot more docile that most of Mars Volta's music though.

  • Yep; "Since I've Been Lovin' You" no doubt about it; what's old is new.

  • if you dont hear the zep influence u cant hear!!! uhhh can u say since ive been lovin you,how many more times!! PMob owns!!!!

  • very impressive. Great Sound. Brilliant guitar solos.

  • Very Good

    Sounds like Led Zeppelin

The One Guy has a hat like Jimi Hendrix xDDD

  • nop, no zeppelin

    btw different times and situations

just hope that new bands like this emerge and make the difference

  • you get the idea brother

  • this sounds like the widow by mars volta

  • Anyone know this song was written about Hurricane Katrina?? Just found out...

  • the singer sounds like I imagine the lovechild of Robert Plant and Janis Joplin would sound.

  • NICE!

  • @againsthesky these two names are too big to fit in one sentence :D

  • @againsthesky yeah there's 4 sure some zep in there

  • i loved and still do love zeplin, but i dont think these guys are trying to be zeplin they just sound alot like them more so in this song.

Everything you're breathing for check that out what a fucking song :D

  • You are a tool bro. Sounds nothing like Plant. Where is your record deal. Up your ass with your head you fucking fail piece of shit.

  • Lol butthurt. The band is pretty obviously trying to be led zep. Seriously, listen to "can't keep no good boy down" and tell me zepplin don't sound lke that.

  • Comment removed

  • these guys are great. a lot like led zeppelin.

it would be better if the vocals sound quality was better, but the guitars have great tone.

    i love this!

  • yea it reminds of led zeppelin...

but it also sounds kinda like THE MARS VOLTA... 3 great bands!!

  • @hernan18812

dude u just made my day. u just said 3 of my favorite bands are awesome thank u for having good taste in music haha

  • @hernan18812 check out "Portugal. The Man."

  • These guys are awesome. I heard this song, and Everything You're Breathing For and thought they had a Zeppelin flavor to them, but when you hear their other songs, they have their own sound that kicks ass

  • BUY THEIR ALBUM

    wont be dissapointedd guys

    rock on

  • does this guy ever miss a note. i have a new favorite band PMob, thats wats up playa!

  • Excellent! Kinda like Zeppelin and the Scorpions.

  • @69512 how can you compare led zep and the scorpions?

  • @dlm9293 There is no comparison in my statement. Imho, if Led Zeppelin and the Scorpions reproduced through the magic of DNA, their children might sound like this. Led Zeppelin will always be the best band. Ever.

  • @69512 oh well glad you agree

    didn't mean to assume

  • @69512 Dude, if led zeppelin would have played this, you'd probably say that its brilliant..

  • wow! I haven't heard such a good band for long time! They are great!!!!!!!!!

  • hey look up this canadian band called dean lickyer to see another unknown band bringing back classic rock. im telling you listen to them they are amazing.

  • You guys have to get this album.. Its amazing.. From top to bottom it is sick!!

  • holy shit. this band is crazy good. i'm pissed i never heard of them before today. i gotta go get their album right now...

  • i love this band! just heard them... When i was an orphan is my favorite from them so far! i hope a new album is on its way

  • In the works from what I hear...

  • wtf???who thinks that good rock music is dead???this band is amazing...and yeah it's like zeppelin...awesome!!!

  • Damn this is good.

  • this song is awesome. it should have been called seeds of decay

  • These guys are effin amazing!!! Saw them in Guelph with Theory of a Deadman

  • led zep wer younger wen they 'conquered the world' but these guy along with wolfmother are 'new rock' these being better in my opinion. see davy knowles for the 'new clapton' he is frighteningly good

  • what an amazing song.

  • i' m glad someone else made the zeppelin compare, glad i' m not the only one who thinks they sound alike.

  • anybody else hear a resemblence to "since i been loving you"?

  • why is rock dead? I type in upcoming rock on a search engine and the number one result I got was lil wayne is set to make his own rock album!!!!!!!!! What the fuck!!! Do not let Lil Wayne make a rock album. It's barely hanging on. I'll be out of music if that's the case, if it truly dies. Fuck this culture, fuck its music, fuck its clothes, fuck its idols, fuck everyone.

  • Damn man... you know Lil' Wayne is a stain on life, but these guys should cheer you up. It's not all bad you know. I agree though - Lil' Wayne is a horrible shit-stain on the underwear of music and deserves to be accidentally shot.

  • this is pretty cliche' stoner rock, but its reeally good cliche' stoner rock

  • more like katrina rock

  • This song is so good. <3

  • They can be better than Zeppelin! Their first album is a must buy for any rock fan and the best are only there to be beaten! Think the big problem today is there isn't the interest in rock like there used to be. It's a lot harder for a rock band to get on the scene now than in the 70's when it was what most were listening to,

  • tard... better than zeppelin? what u be on foo? u gotta be crazy if u think that

  • Why not ?

  • Yes... I'm the "tard" in this conversation. (sarcasm)

I never once said they WERE better than Zep... Just they "could be."

  • ok, led zeppelin is one of the best and most iconic rock bands ever, i don't care how talented these guys are, this music world is ruled by hip hop, rap, pop, and all other kinds of crap *country*, they may be great but they don't have a chance in this music world to, in fact be better than led zeppelin, and to add to all of that i don't see any way possible that they could match led zeppelin's song writing ability

  • Who cares what kind of backing they have. They could still be a better band! You don't need millions of fans to make great music.

  • all bands woho came after led zep..black sab...and all the other heros from the past....can't play free...they're all too much influenced from their idols....

it's great muic what these guys play...that's all and it's all what counts!

    peace...

  • its really good, but its a bit to controlled.

its not the same "free music" led zep did.

  • I really do kinda see a zep sabbath mix here. Listen to a few parts near the end it sounds like since ive been loving you or I cant quit you Baby. Along with some newer sabbath.

  • well they will never be led zeppelin. no matter how much the singer is like robert plant. the guitarist will never be up to par with jimmy page. and ther will never be another rythm section like john paul jones and john bohnam.

9srry if i miss spelt bohnam lol) so yes they may be influenced but i can see vast differences alredy. i would call them grass roots rock and roll.

  • you are correct, they will never and can never be led zeppelin, just as led zeppelin could never be them, we can't be anyone but ourselves, i hope this is what you were trying to convey, rather than they'll never be as good, because unlike what you may think, it's possible to improve at an instrument, it takes hard work, even jimmy page sucked the first time he played a guitar.

  • yes thats wut i was trying to say, and i know i play guitar and i no it takes hard work, i meant like because jimmy influenced all of rocks guitarist in some way, and parlor mob's guitarist wont be as inspiriational and inivative as jimmy layed down the pathway for all guiarist if u follow me.

  • Ohh yes, in order for him to be that influential, he'd have to do something that we've never heard before, and we've heard all of this before.

  • yea exactly but in a good way

  • i have more of a zep background than TMV, and its so its zep i hear when this plays. it doesn't need to be an exact riff rip off to sound like them, as some previous posters were suggesting. it just SOUNDS like zep! thats their style anyways: 60's and 70's rock. read the reviews on them and critics agree (don't say ef critics, theyre just my source...)

  • There are moments when the singer sounds exactly like Sir Robert Plant... The album is absolutely wonderful!

  • i wouldnt say exactly but i can defantly see robert

  • it almost sounds like certain songs are led zepp covers for example this song could almost be a dazed and confused cover thts how much of an influence there is

  • ive actualy just heard their full album. I still dont hear zep as much as i hear everything you've mentioned. not to mention black sabbath for those strong riffs. zep was always more bluesy. they sound alot like wolfmother as a whole. like.... ALOT. their riffs are very similar, even the acoustic songs. although the mob has better guitarists. never the less, thats just my opinion. in the end, this still doesnt quite do it for me... but atleast we're moving in a better musical direction.

  • magnifique ++++++

  • anyone know where I can find the lyrics? (besides the c.d. which I will get soon)

I love these guys. I saw them live recently. Only a few others in the crowd had really heard about them, but it was awesome anyway. I'm happy to see rock bands returning to the roots.

  • its not really like zep, but i hear a little bit from since ive been loving you!

    Awesome

  • Are you kidding, i hear so much zeppelin influence also a bit of MC5 and when the dual guitar solos kick in they sound like Thin Lizzy

People say they sound like Mars Volta but parlor mob have actually been around longer under the name What About Frank so if anything Mars Volta copied them

Unlike mars volta these guys know how to play cos mars volta are just plain shit

  • I never said they sound like Mars Volta.

Led Zeppelin is bit different, from the 4 album its more Folk than this. So Its mostly like the second album! but Led Zeppelin is holy! so they need to achieve a lot more to be mentioned next to the Rock N Roll gods from Zep.

But this is surely the best thing ive heard in a long time! They have great potential!

  • No you didnt say mars volta but others have and i just dont get it

To me its like early zeppelin that they where influenced by i definetely hear mc5 and thin lizzy

I totally agree that the parlor mob are out of zeppelins league but they are definetely the best thing around these days

  • dude... firs of all there is very lil zep influence. yeah they play on a since ive been loving you base line, but thats just a typical 12 bar and doesnt mean shit. maybe some in the way the guitar is incorporated but not enough to say that you hear it in them. and the mars volta have been around waaaaaay longer. mars volta have been playing for over 10 years.... you may know them from AT THE DRIVE IN.... same ppl. anyway, listen to televeators by volta, you'll hear the voice is identical.

  • love it cant wait to see it live

  • look up

    MARS VOLTA - TELEVATORS

the singing and feel is identical.

not saying htats a bad thing... its actually a good thing. i dont mind bands who take ideas from one another as long as its the right bands and not crap. just saying as ive listend to their stuff, there's no zep sound. not vocals, def not guitar, not even the sound of their music as far as instruments and how they use them.

    great band!

  • As a huge fan of both The Mars Volta (especially their first two albums) and The Parlor Mob, I can safely say they sound almost nothing alike. They have about three songs that you can even compare at all, and TMV is pretty prolific, so that's not saying much.

They're both great bands. 'Nuff said.

  • nah, i respectfully disagree. yeah their music as a hwole is alot different - that your right. but this song sounds like something (a tamed version) the mars volta would play. and his voice, maybe not all the time, but especially in this video sounds almost exact to cedric. his yell is almost identical.

  • well i think the music sounds different but the vocals sound alike. just mi opinion though haha

  • i dont hear a bit of zep influence. yeah its bluesy.. but not zep bluesy. not to mention the singing is almost identical to mars volta, maybe just not as violent.

    good band considering todays music......

as im listening to the video.. DEF MARS VOLTA.

  • ALL music is influenced by another band or genre, so stfu and enjoy some actual good music from this era.. or u can keep being the fag u are and hit up some britney spears, or how about soem Pussy Cat dolls...

  • They aren't the first or the last to be influenced by Zeppelin. Just chill and enjoy the music.

  • not really, led zeppelin isn't that bluesy

  • Are you insane? Since I've Been Lovin' You?

  • led zeppelin isnt that bluesy????

bring it on home, since ive been loving you, for your life, black country woman, black dog, boogie with stu, heartbreaker, how many more times, i cant quit you babe, in my time of dying, the ocean, rock and roll, when the levee breaks, you shook me, what is and never should be, and many more of their songs are blues influenced.

  • sorry my mistake. I changed names and thought he meant pearl jam xD

  • LOVE LOVE * x

  • this is such an awesome song, i love the bluesy soul feel to it... awesome band!

  • the singer is totally baked

  • I saw them a month ago. He was totally baked then, too. I think he's always totally baked :)

  • nah, i think the dude has a very nonchalant disposition. world weary characters tend to have that look. but i'm just guessing.

  • i like this version so much more than the album version, but it's hard to capture this on an album. Raw basement shredding! Love these guys, hope they catch on, they're the rock gods of our generation!

  • Just been reading about them in May addittion of Classic Rock mag, thought I would check them out.

Got a great sound going :)

  • damnit he sounds so much like Mr. Plant..fuckin amazing keep it

  • I close my eyes and i remember the 70s this band is great keep it up guys

  • may 24 rockford il

  • where can i buy the tickets

  • a little led zeplinesque

  • Comment removed

  • It is criminal how little exposure these guys have had. Someone needs to tell the Rolling Stones or Kings of Leon to take them on tour or something.

  • this sounds really good.. alhough the verse sounds A LOT like just wont' burn by susan tedeschi

  • This version is like 20x sickier then the cd version ! except for the bass distortion and maybe a lil amp on Mark voice! still sound hard rock with that kind of recording give an extra something! since the guitare is kinda clean..

GOOODDD i love that band !

  • yeah man definitely the mars volta and led zep's love child.

  • it's so bluesy, roots of zeppelin, slightly reminiscent of the mars volta if you ask me. It may not be completely original, but I still like it.

  • where are these cats from? They all look fairly young, and they sound really Blue. I'm liking them from Detroit, and would like a bit more information on them if anyone wants to hallar,i'd appreciate you.

  • They're from Red Bank, NJ, none of them are older than 28 or so, really young guys with a lot of soul and talent. Got the chance to meet them in CT last fall, nice guys too. Hoping some day they'll be one of those immortal bands that they write books and movies about now a days

  • Hey thanks for the info, nice to know. my buddy went to new york last night to see them but i havent talked to him yet to get a review of the show, but it was badd ass ,had to be rite?

  • new jersey i believe

  • thank you see you in toronto feb 25 and feb 26 see you there !!!!

  • it´s a return to roots ;)

  • i Bought it... Come to Toronto and ill buy your concert tickets..

  • Man i bough They're cd and you were a crow... whole album is completly sick!

BUY IT DONT STEAL THEYRE MUSIC!

  • I did too, i wouldnt like if someone stole it cos theyre so epic and hardly known. Hope they come to the uk one day

  • I think they are there right now. Check their website for tour dates

  • This band is great like real hard rock not this new pop or emo or whatever its called. I wish all music would go back to their roots and say fuck the establishment and play what they love.

  • agreed man.

i saw these guys live, and it was refreshing to see a bunch of guys just get up on stage and play straight rock n roll. they really dug down to their roots, especially for a song like this which is very reminiscent of zeppelin.

  • best song of CD

  • what an amazing band.

  • I'm Thankful that there is still good rock band, not like those wanna be little punk rocker who become commercial artiste because someone told them HEY DO THAT YOU GONNA DO MONEY

those guys ARE TALENTED as fuck 8min42 never seems so fast this is pure bmuscial beauty!

  • I'm thankful to my dad for that he grew me up on Led Zeps, Pink Floyd, Purples, Rainbow etc...now I'm serving him these guys, and it's a strange feeling when he ends listening, and after a short while states: "Yeah, they kow how to play...but I'm too old for stuff like this. Play some Muddy Waters"
