The bass isn't really that special though =P. Just a used MIM Fender P with Seymour Duncan pickups. Honestly I've spent around $350 in totat on it

@robguitarist96 This tone is all thanks to a combination of a Tech 21 Sansamp Bass Driver DI pedal and some distortion I added in garage band. I'm not sure if there was any compression added, but there may have been. But yeah...the Sansamp does most of my tone.

Man what do you think, would a precion bass fit for muse instead of a jazz?I play mostly metal and I m considering of buying one but the problem is there's no where here to test them.

@Zip2461996 Either or will work, in all honesty. A precision bass is pretty much the standard of the bass world.

@Zip2461996 Both are great, i have a jazz but i've tried the precision and it's sounds very well with rock'n'roll, defenitly fits Muse style. Jazz is just the tool for all trades while the precision is more limited. If you play mostly metal i guess you're better served with the Jazz, besides the neck is more handy imo.
