The irony is hes a "poet" not really a MC or rapper, but in reality he is far beyond any 'rapper' or MC. Not only did he blow them all away but he actually loves and cares for everyone in the game playing it in the most exploitive way.
I generally hate slam poetry but this is truly amazing. Shows me I've probably just been prejudiced against the form, because this guy just makes it into a work of art - the stuff I'd heard before was pretty average.
@sverrg I love slam poetry, but there is some pretty bad slam poetry out there, and a lot of it is also just hit or miss for me. I kind of have to search for the stuff I really like. Find it in yourself to give it a chance, because when you find the poets that speak to you it's wonderful.
in a poem unproper grammar is used a tool, a very legit tool, and can be used in many types of writing, obviously you didnt pay attention in english class
Obviously you didn't read the comment I was responding to, although I can't seem to find the exact comment even considering it was only a little over two weeks ago.

this is incredible to see live. he was the reason i began writing. i forever owe him a debt of gratitude and can only dream of some day inspiring like he has. his words are a grace upon this earth. its a shame that blissful ignorance prevents some from seeing the beauty. one
