I think that's a really bizarre way of looking at it. I can understand if you want to read Saul's book in peace, or even if you want to chill at home and watch videos on youtube. But going to a show is an experience, and crowd interaction puts power behind the words.

I don't go to a hockey game and expect every to be sedate. I don't go to a concert and believe everyone should be hush-hush.

A really good example of a crowd's role in performance is in any of Jared Paul's if you check that out
