I bet that costs your sims a pretty penny :D Personally when I build mansions (none of which come close to looking like this masterpiece might I add), I hate moving sims into them because it's too hard to manage needs in a house where you're often an hour's walk away from the kitchen. I just leave them, empty, for the local sims to gossip and speculate about ;)

As an update, my computer is a piece of shit!! It takes sooooo long to load this beast up! I need a new comp I think to finish this bad boy simply because it takes 10+ minutes just to switch from sim living mode to furnish/build buy mode :( As nice as it is, I dont think it will be usable to the average Sim player because their comp probably wont load it up (or it will be really really really slow!) I WILL finish it for the sake of finishing it later this year when I get my new comp :)

@abbyRaimundo It's the biggest lot I could select to place on the map. I only used the money cheat, nothing else :) If I didn't use the money cheat, it would have been like 20 sim generations before I would have enough to build the first level! LMAO

@Elysium5s1 There is no foundation. This was built before the expansions with the basement tool, so I used the sims 2 way of building it. Sims hate it because its not complete (I left floor tile out to put the bushes in the middle isles of the pool). Room planning is challenging with the shape of the building. Some area is just left as empty space to compensate. I have built several more rooms since this video and its fine thus far.

I've used a few programs that you have to build the structure according to which walls are load bearing and where each I beam needs to go etc etc for comp class and drafting, and the Sims isnt that kind of program. ITS A GAME! Meant to be enjoyed and not limited to the constraints of real life interior and exterior design elements that would need to be adhered to to make a sound and livable home. This allows for more creativity and is easier for a casual user.

For JC - Oh, and I must add that if architecture is such an interest that you should not be viewing videos of the Sims simply because they do not use a number of elements used in software programs to make a home accurately for building specifications. It is meant to be visually appealing and fun to play. If you don't like the look, move on, find something else of interest, I am sure there are several other Youtube users dying for your AMAZING AND CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISIM AND HELPFUL HINTS...jackass
