ive been a massive haunted fan from the start. I got bored of them after revolver, but i think this is an excellent transition into a fresh band. Which is risky, but they've pulled it off. Nice to be excited by this band again! :)

Here's the thing....you can say, "This band is progressing, that's your ears fault for not agreeing", but when a band doesn't sound anything like they originally sounded, how do you justify using the same band name to sell the album that is nothing like their previous releases? When I listen to The Haunted, I want to hear The Haunted....the music may not be bad but it's sort of a slap in the face of fans expecting a thrash album. Respect the fans, change the name before changing your sound.

@20killers Kind the same thing here but Unseen the single is worse then disapear, but disapear will grow on you with more then one listen but the single is just... too main stream sounding for my taste but then again it is a single so it's not horribly surprising im just hoping the rest of the album sounds more like this, but this is the type of band that tries something new each album so if you dont like this one the next album wont sound like this anyway...

Tired of old fans talking about the thrash days of this band.. it was good for that time, now move on. This sounds in the same vein as Dead Eye, which is the direction this band should continue to go on. It's versatile, catchy but not poppy, and its still aggressive as hell. They're older now and deserve to be making some decent money for once. Can't wait for this new album.

Sounds great to me as it reminds me of the more experimental bits from The Dead Eye (which is a really good album imho). What really pisses me off is the shitty camera work. This was a fucking live perfomance, not a fucking action scene from the first Transformers movie. The people responsible for the cameras at this award show should be summarily executed.

@Valp85 Lmao at "action scene" camera work. Yeah it sucks ass. But Road Kill was a bit like that as well, so I guess The Haunted had a say in it. Myself, I like having the ability to choose what to look at a bit more.. And I like to have the time to realize what's going on before the camera moves to another angle.

You are all wrong. This has a shitload of old school influence in it. It definitely isn't a doom song, but it draws a fuckton from it and the stoner scene, as well as blues. It does have a more modern-metal twist on it, but I can't see this being "more acceptable for the kiddies", as more often than not, slow, heavy bands play to much smaller crowds than even The Haunted is playing to here. I never liked their other bland crap, this has a lot of soul and grooves like a motherfucker.

I`m sick and tired of listening to old school metal heads.. they are so CLOSE MIND.. makes me sick. This song is just AMAZING. Doesnt need to be fast or thrashy to be good. The Haunted is a band that like to experiment and grow. They are such good musicians to stay doing thrash forever. I`m sure Unseen is gonna be GREAT.

I have been a Haunted fan since the beginning and they have come out with some questionable music but this... are you kidding me? Where has my favorite thrash death metal band gone. This sounds like something that came from the deep south of the US and have you guys been holding hands with the band Down?
