  • This song is so cool

  • Men without Hats is one of my favorite bands

  • A classic!!

  • thank you.

  • things i will never forget...

  • I agree, this is a criminally underrated band, similarly to Talk Talk

  • one of my all time favorite albums. it looks like you have the good version with the lyric insert, it took me years to find that copy back in the day.

  • this song makes me think of austin bancroft... i love ya buddy, hope we talk again soon :(

  • ive played this literally 7 times in a row... and i plan to do more

  • great song

  • I want my turntable back!

  • unforgetable

  • mwh has always been a criminally underrated band... don't believe the hype about "bubblegum pop"... it's deeper than most people think... mwh is a thinking man's band... (or woman's-- PC blahblah) i got a special place for them somewhere near my heart... right there in the spleen... oh hell, i love MWH... just deal with it, ok?

  • Onya.

  • My birthday.

  • A great band from a great time. I say often in the 70's I was sick and tired of longhairs with guitars; I wanted music to appeal to something I had no name for but which I now know is my cold, cold silicon heart. And so in the 80's came synths.

But you don't have to add letters to the address to make it stereo. It's already stereo by default owing to a YouTube change a while ago.

  • I wrote the music to this song ;)

    Thank you!

  • @arrobasj Great tune, thanks for writing it. :) Back in the 80s I did a note-for-note cover of it with an M1 and a Kawai sequencer. I wish I still had a copy of it.

  • looking for chords of this awesome song.....who can help me out?

  • Rhythm of youth is a very good album. Every song is a hit!

  • i think that i m scotland

  • Canadians man. Where would we be without them?

  • @ludocrat No where.

  • One of my all time favorite songs!!!!

  • @elceelee mine too

  • lol i remember being 16 n hvng my only ever gay crush on Ivan! shocking but part of life lol

  • I LOVE every song on this album. My uncle bought it for me when I was 7 because I liked the hit safety dance. This is one of the greatest if not THE greatest 80s pop albums.

  • This came out in 1982 -I was 21 at the time-I was in a night club in Switzlerland when I heard this for the first time -flash back - good memories - Thanx

  • Der beste Oldie überhaupt ! ! !

  • What's that in the corner?? ON the back of the album? Does that say $3.79? Man, the '80/s are sweet. Great song.

  • holy hell..ty for uploading..I haven't heard this since I played the shit outta my cassette,80's synth pop at it's finest

  • beautiful, this song was a bit of a lifeline in the summer. an amazing tune off an amazing album. respect all men who refuse to wear hats, or even men who can't afford hats, or even men who have heads too big for hats.

  • A beautiful, sad song.

  • This is my favorite Men Without Hats song!!!!!! the dj

  • I loved you as a teen but as I grow older I really do appreciate your talent so much more. You guys rock!!

  • Things like polyester pants and shoes don't make it easy to remember

Was it here or yesterday, or wasn't it the 14th of November

  • @haroldangel1 14th of November <-World Diabetes Day

  • yeah yeaah yeaaah!!

this is a great classic! :D

  • Great band! Got this album when it first came out.

  • there are things ina drug store you can buy???? hhmmmmm

  • You know, for all the safety dance fans I'm surprised you guys haven't checked out the songs "antarctica" "I like" and "I got the message"! Those are all safety dance-like songs, but are original enough to be their own awesomeness! :D

  • What a great song. Thanks for sharing.

  • timeless classic man

  • Thanks Ox51d for the memories of playing this track over and over all those years ago. Great song

  • love love love this song.

♫ and i wonder if I'll fall in love again ♪

  • does anybody know where can i get the rhythm of youth cd? it is out of print, as far i as know... and not even ebay has it.... :S

  • Download it off of a torrent site.

  • Try Ear-X-Tacy in Louisville KY. I just ordered Live Hats on DVD. and they found it!!!! This store finds anything you want (almost.) Try them. "Collection" Has most of the CD on it. That's readily available. good luck.

  • Absolutely brilliant. Rhythm of Youth will always be one of my all-time favorite albums. While man will criticize the group for being 'cheesy 80's synth-rock'--I consider them to be one of the most original artists of the decade. I'll put them right up there with Talk Talk as a 'beyond-the-norm' pop band. Thanks for posting this....

  • Why did so many bands want to sound engish in the 80's?

    I still love it but.

  • @jimmytwostones Because British music was so influential and good. Anyway it made a change from British groups trying to sound American which happened a bit in the 70s. :D

  • My favorite MWH song!!!

  • great song and album grew up listening to this band and one of the best that canada has ever had.

  • Oh hell yeahhhhhhhh

  • this is one of the best songs i wore this record out in the 80s !

  • It would be cool if you put up the Reprise version of The Great Ones Remember.

  • The ending is my favorite. I need to dig this cassette out.

  • Me too! I love that keyboard part. A great song, indeed.

  • i miss this band. i need to get a cd. me and my mate used to listen to mwoh on cassette back in the day so much that we had to stop so we wouldn't wear it out... so awesome. <3

  • Really great Canadian band that most people don't know about.

  • stoked i wish someone would upload all the tracks from the folk of the 80's album

    thanks for this

    big ups!!!!

  • Thanks for uploading. Back in 1983, I had this on cassette and "Things in my Life" was actually my favorite song on the album. Brings back good memories from that time.

  • You're welcome. It's an amazing album.

    Cheers!

  • Are you planning to upload "I Like" onto Youtube any time soon?

    If not I'll do so.

  • It's already available here.
