  • You can find it at macys

  • great video, thanks so much.

  • I had 2 go thru 4 colors to get the right color of Est.Lauder DW. When I went to the store the makeup artist took some makep, swiped it on me & said "oh yes that's your color" so I bought it. Got home, washed, put it on my entire face. I looked so pale! I put the EL DW Poweder on in a daker color.Horrible.I took it all back.Get this. EL told me that a non EL employee was filling in& that they don't get it.ALWAYS ask if they really work for EL! I had no idea I had a "fill-in girl" I always ask now

  • does this rub off when you hug people

  • yess that is very true ! i dont think keeping a sponge for years is very good even though your gonna be washing it

  • I love your eyebrows.

  • Can you please tell me what color you are in MAC foundations ? thank you!

  • does a sponge waste less product than a brush does? sorry if you said this already lol

  • @lexxibear709 yes it does! especially when you got the sponge damped

  • You talked me into getting the Laura Mercier shimmer block. Now I just have to wait for it to be delivered. I bought the Diorskin shimmer powder in amber diamond a few weeks ago and its really nice. I live in a small town so I have to order almost everything. I wonder what my mailman thinks because I am always getting packages. He probably feels bad for my husband. lol

  • which Ulter did you go ??? I saw your vedio and I went to Ulta at La Jolla. I couldn't find one~~!!! I will go to Ulta at San Marcos to see they have it. THanks

  • Werecan i buy this i cant find it at ulta

  • so helpful!!! thanks!!

  • Hi Gina,

I was trying to buy the 'beauty blender' on ulta's site, but couldn't find it on the site. What is the name of it? I don't have an ulta here in hawaii so I was just going to place an order...:) thanks!

  • Thanks Gina for your review &demo. I went ahead a month ago & bought the beauty blender. I feel that if a product "may" work better & give this vintaged face a tiny improvement over a different product I dont mind spending the 25 bucks or however much it was. I also bought the Sonja Kashuk version. I do have occasions to use them both but I mostly wanted to compare. My question is with what do you clean yours? I didnt buy the BB cleanser. Ive used soap & water or OdoBan on both of them.

  • Anyone know how this compares to the Sonia Kashuk sponge? That's the one I own and I found it to be less soft/bouncy than the Beauty Blender

  • I do love cosmetic sponges, just don't like how small and flimsy most are. This seems like a great alternative! It looks like it fits nicely into the hand and has some push-back. I also like that you wash it instead of simply disposing, something that does bother me about using traditional sponges. Since I know you worry about this, too, I am curious how you keep it sanitary over time? Does it dry quickly?

  • Hello, does anyone know if I can just get the mac pump separatly without having to purchase a mac foundation? Thanks!

  • hey girl <33

you should try mac pro longwear! i'm a club dancer at night, and double wear and pro longwear are my two favorite foundations for when i'm dancing or going out. double wear has the best coverage, but pro longwear is the most sweat- and transfer resistant foundation i've ever used.

  • So you don't put foundation over your eye (lids) or lips? I thought I was supposed to.

Thanks! I truly appreciate your reviews. The best! <3 Susan

  • I had both, the sonia kashuk one and the beautyblender and last one is WAY BETTER. My beautyblender last me for nearly a year! The S. Kashuk one a few month maybe, it started to crackle...and it doesnt get as soft as the b.blender. I mostly used it for blending on my nose since brushes doesnt work that good on this area.

  • @audrey6955 Are you guys buying or renting? If you want something "townish" you can look in Kanata, or if you like being a little out of town you can look in Carp (where we lived). they are mega expanding and have a couple subdivisions or you can look into dunrobin (although expensive sine they are close to and on the water) Although upper dunrobin, might be priced like Kanata, and it is like 7 minutes away from Kanata. for how long will you be in Ottawa?

  • i can see how this version can achieve the same results BUT the beauty blender has a bouyancy to it far greater than any other "egg" sponge versions or dupes to it. the quality lies in the feel and the results the BBlender has.

  • I use the Sonia Kashuk sponge and I didn't find that the Ulta sponge worked the same way :(

  • @audrey6955 LOL's yeah I think we are rubbing off on each other:) How are you doing hun?

  • another great review- you are so thorough and honest and full of lots of great info and tips!

  • I've had the beauty blender for a year and never tried it...haha what the heck am i waiting for??

  • Hi Gina!!! Just wanted to know if you've tried the lancome tient miracle foundation if so, what color do u use! Or if you've tried any lancome foundation at all, can u tell me what color u r!? Thanks a lot!!

  • I don't wear foundation, but if I ever do I know what to use to apply it so i can have a flawless finish. Thank you!!

  • Okay, so basically isn't this the same as stippling with something damp and dense? I just wonder if you were to get similar effects stippling foundation with the Elf powder brush (which is how I often apply my own foundation) but spraying the brush first (which I've never done but maybe should!). Or is the Ulta BB different from that, too?

  • I have an egg shaped sponge from Sephora. I hate it. I'm still in love with the Sigma f80.

  • lk

  • i love es double wear but i found it to be to a bit much so i mix it with my nars sheer glow. now i dont like the sheer glow by its self or the double wear by its self but mixed its amazing plus aplying it with my beauty blinder im in love there is no other foundation that compares.

  • I agree, Estee Lauder Double Wear is AMAZING. I do have the Double Wear Light, amazing staying power. However, the only thing I wish Estee Lauder would improve on is the color selection. Other than that, amazing foundation for those who are looking for a long wearing foundation. PS. I really have oily skin and this does NOT transfer, I don't need powder because it sets itself and controls the oil very well.

  • Should say never

  • I have beer used a blender but now I am curious I will do a video in response :) thanks so much!

  • I like my beauty blender sponge with revlon color stay too, Its amazing!!!!!!!

  • Interesting review. I just cant bring myself to use a sponge, maybe it just feels odd. Lol

  • Gina girlfriend you have so much charm <3

  • I need to try the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation...I just picked up Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer this past weekend and I like it a lot too...I am a foundation junkie as well....seems like I find 1 thing NOT to "like" and then I jump ship to another one and so on...I am the same color as you and a lot of foundations make me look too orangey-yellow (guess it oxidizes on my skin) and it drives me crazy!

  • I went to ulta and they were sold out :( did you pick up the last one Gina? Lucky you!!!!

  • Hey Gina! I know how much of a foundation junkie you are, so I thought i'd share. Sephora's line has a new foundation and I actually REALLY like it! I thought it would be crappy, but it's pretty nice. I'm not particularly used to high end foundations like double wear, but i think the sephora one is worth a shot if you'd like to try it. It's 22 dollars. Love you Gina!!!

  • i swear EL's doublewear.. watched this video this morning. just got back from Ulta with this sponge... soooooooooo excited!

  • I've had one for months, I guess I'll give it another try!

I also found that it soaked up the foundation, then I couldn't get it clean no matter how much I washed it!

    TY!

  • I'm going to have to go out and get that sponge. I've always been a bit leery about them from a hygiene standpoint. Have you heard about washing them in the dishwasher?

  • I haven't tried the Ulta but my gawd gurl the BBlender is the BOMB!! It's the best finish I've ever seen really.....but of course I would have the only 2 liquid foundations that only look good using fingers ;-P Woohoo Shimmer Bloc! Fab review as always doll!

xoxo.....now go get the beauty blender ;-P

  • I tried the Sonia Kashuk's sponge for testing the technique and loved the results. I was then tempted to try the actual Beauty Blender and bought the double-pack - with some discounts, it came to around $11/sponge - almost same as SK one. Oh My God - Beauty Blender is soooooo much better than SK one! There is something better about the BB!!! Never tried the Ulta one but I personally would lookout for deals to buy the actual BB sponge. Hope this helps someone.

  • Gina, have you tried MAC prolong wear foundation? It's staying power is awesome like the doublewear, and a bit more inexpensive! 

  • great vid! thank you for telling us about this alternative!

  • Where in ulta did you find the sponge? I've looked for it and I have a feeling I'm just not looking in the right spot?

  • @85doric i just got one today. its not with the ULTA brand brushes. it's in the area with triangle sponges, cotton balls, etc. It's the "Basically U" brand, which I was told is Ulta's brand.

  • It is so interesting to me how people have such an aversion to using the cosmetic sponges that come with a foundation or that are designed to be disposable but then will turn right around and spend $5 $12 $20 for the exact same thing that just has a fancy name, a fancy shape, and an attractive color. I'd be curious to see how many people would buy the Beauty Blender if they had printed the name COSMETIC SPONGE on the packaging instead of BEAUTY BLENDER. lol Psych 101 :) Shannon

  • @originalslushey I use cosmetic sponges all the time. I have all shapes and sizes and am not a stranger to using the regular ol triangle ones. I also have a flat egg shaped one I've tried to use in the beauty blender's stead before stumbling upon this one at Ulta. What I can tell you is the difference is incredible. If the others did the same thing I'd be more than happy to report those results. I think the shape + control is what makes a huge difference.

  • @ginabinawina99 Yeah. I'm a pretty big fan of sponges in general over brushes actually. Every now and then I come across a foundation that really needs to be buffed out, but most of the time I always prefer the results from just using my fingers or a sponge. It's mostly the "germaphobes" that avoid them, so it always crack me up when I see one using the beauty blender not realizing they are the same concept. You have to clean both of them properly, so I always just choose based on results.

  • @ginabinawina99 On that note, is there a trick to using the standard triangle ones? I've only ever used them with stage makeup, which doesn't have to be blended all that well. lol But right now I seem to have better luck using my fingers than I do using the wedge sponges right now, and they're all I can find around here.

  • @ginabinawina99 i think originalslushey makes an *excellent* point. and this would be a great topic to discuss in psych too. it's aaaall about the packaging. ;-) (and name)

  • @originalslushey you cant compare a beauty sponge to a regular cosmetic sponge...huge difference i have used both and saw a big difference..beauty blender was worth every penny for the flawless foundation coverage i got

  • @xoxococomademoiselle Oh of course not all sponges are equal. I was simply commenting on the fact that I have watched girls swear by brushes only and go on and on and on about the evils of sponges being unclean, but then use the beauty blender literally not putting two and two together that it ultimately is a sponge. I was more commenting on the psychology behind it and the impact that marketing (particularly here on YT) has on girls that really don't have proper information to begin with. :)

  • I really love EL Double Wear, but none of the colors are light enough for me. Argh, I wish they made a shade suitable for NC10-ish skin. Brilliant foundation, though!

  • hello gorgeous...love it how u still find the time to respond to most of ur comments, that shows a lot....i just adore u girl....so darn cute!!

  • Oh gosh you don`t wear makeup in the beginning, and still look great.

  • I am not convinced by the sponge (germ freak I am , germ freak I'll stay...). But I just tried EL Double wear light and regular : those foundations are perfection...I was so disapointed with NArs (too yellow), Maybelline Fit Me (poor staying power), etc, etc...The quest is over EL is Holy grail !!!

  • Gina, I forgot to ask which LM shimmer block are you enjoying?

    Is it Mosaic (bronze/ gold/ copper/ champagne)?

There are also pink, golden & other Mosaic block IIRC.

    Highly appreciated,

    TY

  • Gina can you please do some reviews on lancome foundations???

  • Nurberxo swears by this combination too (Double Wear + Beauty Blender). You've probably seen her videos, but if not, check her out. She is amazing.

  • I have been trying out a sample of the ELDW in ecru and love it, will definitely try it with a beauty blender now.

    Great video!

  • How weird! In Aus the 1w1 is called Bone. We have Bone Ecru and Shell in the 1 series. I have that sponge and had terrible trouble with it - but impatient Karyn only tried it once! I didnt bounce, i splodged! You look fab in the mosaic too.

  • How exciting i recently purchased the double wear foundation and i have the beauty blender.I was happy with the end result of double wear having been applied with my fingers, but now with the beauty blender its Fav,Frekn,FABULOUS....

  • Hi Gina, which color of the foundation would you recomend for a nc20-25?? I have to order on line and I haven´t got a clue. Thanks so much :)

  • i see you are linen in ELDW...what would you be in MAC....? thanks x

  • Does anyone know where to get cheaper version of beauty blender in Ireland?

  • awsome

  • Great review, Gina! The foundation looked great on you after you applied with the sponge. great finish! I'm going to check my Ulta for the sponge. Watched the kitties new video tonight too. it was funny! Hugs. . . Vickie

  • everytime i see you, i have to tell myself that you are NOT 22-23 years old. haha. btw, very helpful video :) :)

  • The last time I used my sponge I found even after wetting, it still kinda ate up a lot of foundation. did you have any problem? Maybe my sponge wasn't damp enough?

  • @thebarbiewithmuscle ooh!! Maybe wet it a little more? I keep squeezing and releasing it while the water is running so fluid can distribute all throughout the sponge and fill up completely, then I squeeze excess out. I don't find it's eating up too much foundation. Is yours the Ulta one, too? xox

  • @ginabinawina99 Yes, it is the exact same one, and I think you are right. Most probably I was too afraid of it being to wet, or maybe I don't know my own strength and drained the thing like it was in a desert, LOL. I'll try it tomorrow again, this time a little more damp:)

  • @thebarbiewithmuscle Yay!! good luck Leife!! ;cD

  • @ginabinawina99 LOL, go get some sleep, or your muscles won't recover for tomorrow:) good night...zzzzz

  • @thebarbiewithmuscle oops ..I mean leifie!! LOL @ green and orange. Mrs. Green + Mrs. Orange! NOW that'd be a fun YT video! ;cD

  • LOL's.... fan-friggin-tabulous... hun you might be spending too much time with me, you're starting to speak like me...LIEFIE..ha-ha-haaa. I can't make up my mind between neutral or warm either. I think I should use the leftover samples and literally do the two halves of my face in each with make up, then you can help me decide. Or I can ask Johan, and he will tell me I'm green again, LOL

  • @thebarbiewithmuscle ahah!! Hey greenie!! foundations seem to turn gray or green on you! Its so interesting! LOL, I remember you saying Johan said you looked like one of your plants. Yes, def do a split face comparison w/ the neutral and warm. I may go ahead and buy the linen instead of ecru. It's love!

  • @ginabinawina99 I still have that stupid foundation in my head that we saw at the CCO. I think I want to play with it some more. Wonder if they would actually give us a sample of that? LOL's yes I'm green/grey and you are mrs orange:) We should actually take pictures of products on both of us, so subbies can see how friggin weird it is. Bet you there isn't a video like that on youtube yet!

  • I am going to go get this tomorrow :) I mean for 5bucks it is worth trying!!! Thanks Gina :)))

  • Feels like we haven't seen you in awhile:) Great review!!!

  • you look so beautiful without eye makeup on! :D

  • Great review. I'll have to try it. I have dry/combo skin so it will be good for me.

Thanks for sharing Gina. Have a good week :)

    ~twyla

  • I love you Gina! I love your vids!!

  • Your makeup is always so beautiful!!!!

  • I bet Sir Issac would like to play with that sponge, it kind of looks like a cat toy!

  • ur lighting is too bright...difficult to see the final look.

  • Do you find the blender sponge wastes much foundation?

  • I want to try this! I've been trying a sample of DW in Linen & one of Lucidity in Neutral Ivory. The L's shade is a better match for me but I like the DW coverage better. Can't wait to try the Ulta version with it. Thanks for sharing Gina ;)

  • I LOVE the beautyblender...it has changed my life! NO joke! It can make just about ANY foundation look good, imo. I've had my BB since late July, so 8 months now, and other than some slight discoloration/staining from some foundations it's still in excellent condition (I do wash it after every use)...no rips, tears, or breakdown. HG product. I will never be without it!

  • I love the Laura Mercier shimmer block too, I love that it has some green in it

  • well i have had mine for 6 months it is like NEW!- i have washed it sooooo many times with antibacterial soap- lit goes straight to new!!! i also use to it press in my moisturiser- love love love it-- glad you did this so more people can know how nice it is x shelly!!!!

  • I've owned many BB over the last 2 plus years and I FREAKING LOOOOVE it! I'd cry if it was ever discontinued. That being said, I do not care for the price tag. I've also tried the SK one in effort to find a dupe, and IMO, it was laughable the huge difference between the two. I bought my bff another version of the BB that's sold in Sephora's stores (it's yellow) and once she tried the BB, she said the yellow sephora one also paled in comparison. I def don't mind paying $5 to see if it MIGHT be a

  • I bought the Sonia Kashuk one from Target yesterday. I didn't feel like forking out the cash for one from Sephora..way too much money for a sponge! Now that I know that there's an even cheaper one than the SK I'll look for that when this one wears out. I use Double Wear Light and Nars Sheer Matte so we'll see how it applies with those. I don't normally EVER apply makeup with a sponge so I'm excited! Loved the video!! Keep them coming! :)

  • i love using the beauty blender with the hourglass concealer for undereye concealing. i apply directly from the tube to my undereye area and use the damp sponge to distribute/blend .

  • I have the beauty blender, I love it, but the cheapie may be my replacement for it when it dies. Gives a gorge finish, though.

  • Ohh.....I have a few ULTA coupons I need to use....guess I know what I'm getting! :)

  • I just purchased this foundation, this review was very helpful :) thanks

  • @MsKarmasAbitch You should try the Ulta one! people keep telling me they've tried all of them, or at least one of the cheaper versions, but the beauty blender is still the best. I MAY have to try it. HAH @ commenting. shoot.. I do it all the time.. I comment while I watch, hit send, then "oh crap" something else makes me want to add to what I already said. LOL Hugs, sweetie! xox

  • Gina, I am one of those people as well that can't quite see paying that much for a sponge... However, it has changed my life. And I did try the Ulta one recently and found that the texture was not quite the same. What I am saying is that if you love the Ulta one, try the Beauty Blender. It will change your life.. again!

  • @msjulieangell haha!! OMG.. change my life, twice?! Yes!!! Okok okok! I'll get it. Far too many people raving about the beauty blender. xox

  • are you the girl who did the long elf haul a while ago? if so you were the first one i watched..when you swatched the blushes and stuff...

  • @xaninuny hey!! i'm sure it was me. I bought half of elf at one time.. LOL xox

  • I can't find it online. did you get it in the store? The "Super Blender Elliptical sponge" online looks white and just like a flat sided oval shape sponge like the triangle ones. What am missing?

  • So what's the difference between using the Beauty Blender and just a regular drugstore sponge wedge? Are the results very different?

  • @swisskissle the results are vastly different. when I use a regular wedge, it still can end up streaky. I assume it's the shape that makes the difference, but it could also be the formulation of the sponge material as well. My money is on the shape offering more surface area to pounce the foundation on.

  • Hey Gina. Did you try the Doouble wear light (in a tube)? Just wondering if it holds up the same way as the original. thanks

  • @smiley0987 i've yet to try DL light, but I hear great things. I hear it's good coverage, just lighter and maybe more appropriate for summer. I do plan on giving it a try sometime soon. oxx

  • Never mind, I didn't read what you wrote in the vid, lol!

  • @APPARENTLYaPRINCESS ahah! not a problem!! I realized I didn't mention it in the vid. luckily I caught that b4 I uploaded it. xox

  • Can always count on you for a great review, never fails.

I guess if I want to see my god children (LOL) I'll have to hightail it on over to the TheSirAndHer (I saw a new vid), they seem to be missing in action here!!

    XOXO!!

  • @FloridaSweety aww hahah!! animals always gets their attention!! ;cD Hugs!!

  • What do you use to wash the sponge?

  • Beauty blenders ROCK! I cannot live without them. I would not ever try another one again. I did try the Target one and no comparison to the BB. Go for it Gina..it will change your life..LOL Get the real BB.

  • @CalicoCatMissPeachs ok!!! you realize you're like the upteenth person to say its SO worth getting?! I'm caving!! Maybe I can use the ulta one for cream blush, then. xox

  • Hi Gina, I bought the SK sponge then the orig. pink beauty blender and I like the orig. better because it's not as dense and it bounces on your face easier for easy blending but like the design aspect of the SK sponge with the curve. I only use it on special occasions so didn't mind spending the money on beauty blender. The DW is an HG for me but now with the warmer weather u should try the DW light which is a lighter consistency than the DW fdtn but great coverage. Try it n let me know.

  • @reztyle omg.. you're a bad influence!! NOw I must try the original beauty blender and def. want to try the DL light. thanks!!

  • I may have to try one of these out, I use the sponge wedges, just never got into the brushes, but this does sound really good. You also have me wanting to try the Estee Lauder Double Wear now too, I recently tried the Fit Me and have been really liking it, but from everything I've heard about the DW it just may be better!

  • The foundation looks great! I've been meaning to try this forever but keep talking myself out of it because of its matte finish and my "aging, dry skin" but now I think I'll go ahead and check it out. Great point about yellow canceling out the red. I always forget to point this out in my vids. NEVER buy foundation to match your ruddiness! Glad you said it!! xo

  • Great review. I am def gonna try the Ulta beauty blender...

  • Only $5 I'm going to have to get one asap! I have heard wonderful things about the Estee Lauder double wear foundation.I'm afraid to try new ones tho because my skin is so sensitive.Would you recommend it doll for someone with sensitive skin? Thanks:)

  • I still can't do the beauty blender thing...it's a sponge!!!! Everyone swears by it! One of these days I'll bend. I am in love with the Estee L DW thanks to Nurberxo! Ordering the friggin LM mosaic now! Thanks enabler!

    xoxo,

    CAROL AKA ToothfairyCAROL :)

  • Great Review I think the generic beauty blender is a great product for the price. I guess I am just so use to using foundation brushes . But your application looked wonderful ! Thanks for the review :)) Susie~

  • Now i gotta go try the beauty blender!! off to Ulta i go!! thanks Gina!! <3 yah vdos!!

  • I could never get myself to buy the beauty blender. I think its bcuz I love using my brushes especially my new Coco Beau Pro brush. Anywho...Thanks! and lovely nail lacquer.=)

  • Hmmm no one I subscibe to uses beautyblender in vids. I tried two brands...brushes are better for me.

  • Thanks for reviewing the ulta beauty blender dupe :)

  • What camera do you use to record your videos Gina?

  • your skin looks amazing with this stuff super silky and flawless

  • WoW your skin looked like silk or should I say very smooth after you applied the makeup with the BeautyBlender. Very Nice...

Yes this video was very helpful as all yours are.

    Thanks :))

  • Going to Ulta this week so I'll pick one up.

  • Which of the laura mercier shimmer thingie do you have? I feel like I already asked you this. If I did, sorry. My memory is mush. There are four colors and I don't know which one to pick (online, haven't seen them in person).

  • @jalapena2007 oh oh! its the one in mosaic..

  • @ginabinawina99 Okey dokey. Grazie. Thanks. Gracias. Merci. Yeah...that's all I got.

  • @jalapena2007 merci beaucoup!! danke! ;cD

  • So what you're trying to say is double wear is sponge worthy, eh? LOL!!

  • @jalapena2007 OH MY GOD!! HAHAHAHAA Seinfeld FTWIN!!!!

  • @jalapena2007 OMG... this had me cracking up out loud... too funny! "Do you think your sponge worthy"...

  • @schaalbwife I couldn't resist! Haha!!

  • @schaalbwife roflmao!!!!!!

  • @jalapena2007

    LOL...too funny. I love that show :)

  • Do you have dry skin? how do u make EL dw work? i thought it was for oily skin

  • I've tried both Beauty Blender and Sonia Kashuk's blending sponge, and I prefer Beauty Bleder all the way. Sonia Kashuk's sponge was a lot cheaper, but it didn't expand the way Beauty Blender did with water, and the sponge fell apart only after a month of usage. Beauty Blender is a far better product and I only wish they have it in Sephora stores as well.

  • I have the bb but never use it. I need to find a good liquid foundation! Knda random but are you left handed? No judging.. I am!

  • OMG are you reading my mind? I spent all moring searching you tube vids for the ulta beauty blender reviews and now here you are!

I sure did find this helpful TY so much Gina. Now if I could only find the blender sponge online lol.

  • You may like Laura Mercier Silk Cover Foundation, beautiful finish

  • I just don't like the Double Wear. I have recently started to wear Maybelline's Superstay and that foundation is awesome. Does not get the love it deserves. Works better for me than Revlon Colorstay Combo/Oily and Double Wear. I have oily skin and just couldn't get EL Double Wear to work.

  • Hi Gina! I loved the review and I actually went to Ulta today to buy the sponge but I couldn't find it. Uuuuuggghh! Do you remember what aisle you found it on? or where it was near? Thanks for your help..................

  • Ohhh ulta doesn't ship to Spain...!!

  • as far as foundation I want one with oil in it but not mineral oil or bad oil. I don't know yet if that exists. One that isn't oil free but moisturizing like hell and no mineral oil or bad oils.

  • I have every version of the "Beauty Blender" sponge. I use the one from Ulta everyday. Have used it for 6 months. Have two new ones for back up but have yet to open them. To clean mine I set it in a little dish of oil free eyemakeup remover and the makeup comes out easily. I wash it with a anti-bacterial soap afterwards. This sponge has lasted! Never use any brushes just pounce it on. All my brushes just set there waiting... Now everyone will go by these! Must go get more :)

  • this just looks like a gimmick to me no offense. I think you have to be a HUGE makeup person to appreciate this.

  • The BeautyBlender (original) is totally worth it. if you go to IMATS they have them on sale too, with the cleanser that works best to clean it

  • love love your review ! and now i want this foundation lol at first a wasn't sure about it but you really change my mind the finish on your skin is amazing , i have oily skin and i'm always looking for a good long lasting foundation thank you so much and thumb up !!!

  • EL DW is my workhorse of foundations.

    I do love BeautyBlender though.

    Great review as always! :-)

  • @mqs7524 ahh!! so many say its worth the $20 after they buy it.. maybe I'll just have to cave and give her a try! after all, I do love comparisons of high vs. affordable! xo

  • Thank you so much for reviewing that sponge--I was waiting to see what you thought of it before going out to get one :) I just love your reviews!!

  • Honestly, you gotta try the Beauty Blender. It's all I use and it's fantastic if you have dry skin. I wash it every day and it lasts a good 3 months. Then I use the old one to put on cream blush and use the the new one for foundation. Rotation!

  • @tepeca2000 ahh!! that's a great idea! rotate the older ones for cheek cream products. I luv me some cream blushes, so thanks for that info! xox

  • Seriously? 20 bucks ? It's a sponge for crying out loud!!! But...The 5 dollar one looks good on ya! Cheryl I like the lip colors, too;)

  • @4evryoung58 for $5, the results are SO worth it! thanks Cheryl!. Hugs, Gina

  • beautiful, perfect, A+.....*applaud*
