30 seconds later it probably overheated since going into deep water pulls your fan blades forward into your radiator and punctures it. Off road guys use electric fans they can shut off when doing deep water crossings.

Not necessarily, If he didn't stop pressing the gas pedal, he may had no water on the engine. That is part of off-roading 101.

Actually you can see the snorkel between the cab and box when it passes by the camera. If you know any thing about cars you would know that an engine needs air not water to combust. The exhaust is low and you can see the steam out the left side before it passes. Drive your car into water and see what happens
