I remember watching this tv transmission years ago,the moment i was still living on the island of Curacao. Never imagine that once a day i would be working in a real Boeing 747-200 at a Aviation Museum..!

By the way; the 747-300 is NOT a "SUD" because he was already newbuild with a long upperdeck. Only the 200 series has been "streched" and got lateron the SUD name extend. I still have this "NOS" transmission on VHS cassette,very instructive.

Funny.. There are different cultures in the cockpits too (may it be good or bad). This must have been some sort of media thing on this -200SUD for the 75 years of Dutch Aviation

They are in a holding pattern at 3000 ft. Not a very sterile cockpit.

Pilots from every nation back then smoked in the cockpit before the ban came in, at different times in different airlines and countries. It wasn't just the dutch.
