  • Dang nice helmet camera and sucks for you i feel bad we'll 5/5.

  • Nice Video!! This video is now also featured on my website! It's a Blog dedicated to windsurfing videos, check out my profile for more info

  • Great video, thanks!

Just curious, could you share what your helmet cam setup is?

  • Sony super HAD 480 TV line bullet cam with a 2.9mm wide angle lens + a microphone water-proofed with 4 layers of rubber glove finger tips. The cables run back into a small backpack. Inside is a housing I made from PVC tubing which has a perspex lid and stainless steel bolts to hold it down on an O-ring. Inside the housing is a 12Volt AA battery pack which provides power to the CAM & MIC. The video recording device is a small portable HDD which records @ 320x240res (a very basic setup).

  • lol nice ^_^ why did you unhook ? lol or was it just big chop

  • I knew it was shallow near there so unhooked incase i hit bottom. but somehow got blown round before i reached the bank...gust...lost balance..iguess

  • nice death spiral, dude. gotta love the feeling of being wrenched into the nose of your board by your harness at a good 30 miles an hour.

  • I had broken the fin box earlier and repaired it myself so I was not sure if it would hold up after my home repair job. I thought it might break hitting the sandbar, so just checked to make sure it was ok.. I think it is much stronger than originally but a lot heavier!

  • great stuff!

did u rip ur fin or why did u check it?

  • brilliant !
