this movie is not based on dynasty warriors. It's based on actual events in Chinese history. Dynasty warriors was based off of these events as well...

Anyways, it's really an amazing movie.

It is an epic, epic film. It really is. I loved every minute of it.

but the actual movie is, sort of a simular style, as in if u like the one movie ur pretty much garenteed to like the other. Though Redcliff is far better in my opinion

Yo man I know this is late and I'm not saying that Diao Chan is real, but just because there is no record of her doesn't mean she didn't exist. I mean we were lucky enough to find resources as we did to even know people like Guan Yu and Zhang Liao even existed. A man can only hope lol.

Lu Bu begged for mercy before Cao Cao read the novel in the face of death he screamed at Liu Bei for not helping him and because of that Cao Cao had him hanged, a death penalty for a woman at that time period. Chen Gong and Zhang Liao were braver. Lu Bu didn't want to die and diao chan is a fictional character.

thats not a bad idea, it would be cool to see lu bu in his own movie. it can probably show a side of lu bu that most ppl dont realize he has. the ending would obviously be him getting killed but it makes things more dramatic that way :)

Wow Hero123, looks like you think you're the expert of this infamous battle? I guess you can't read Chinese or isn't that good about a poem that Cao Cao's son wrote. It states that Cao Cao wants Da & Xiao Qiao and this may be the reason why Zhou Yu joins the fight. (From San Guo Yan Yi) Plus, this is a movie, not the actual war 2000 years ago. Chill?

you must be joking if you don't think they're distorting facts to earn some extra tickets. They turned this into some Helen of Troy shit. yes Cao Cao wanted Da and Xiao Qiao, but he did not go to war for that. This movie puts so much emphasis on Tony Leung, why? The chacter he plays eventually got outsmarted byy Zhuge Liang so many times to his death. He was just lusty and wants to humiliate his enemies. Also Zhuge Liang should NOT be taller than Guan Yu.

I am sorry but please read the real facts on history. Zhu Geliang is taller than both Guan Yu and Zhang Fei in real San Guo Zhi. A 文官 =/= shorter. In fact, Chiling is pretty so who doesn't wanna see more of her? Who cares about the real history as long as they don't make Zhao Yun a girl. Still, chill? I can tell Guan Yu is your god.

hell yea Guan Yu is my god, no Guan is taller than Zhuge Liang for sure. There is the real crescent blade in China and it was both heavy and very long. I dont want some stupid romance in the only three kingdom movie so it'll sell more tickets. Xiao and Da Qiao are NOT the main focus of the three kigndom periods nor do they have any significance in the history of China, unlike Cao Cao, Guan Yu, and Liu Lei. these were men fighting for the good of the country, to unite the country.
