@sensualbunny1 this song symblozied the fall from grace rush managed in just 5 short yrs since MP. fans left in droves after this release as any hope for rush to return to anything remotely like rush as the past was dashed with this release. they lost all the momentum generated by the ground breaking MP which went triple platinum upon release. The expermental Signals records was understood to be just that & accepted, but rush cont to fall from its core fans base until all was lost by HYF.

@fendergibs I agree that it costed them alot. But personally, I really like this era. I think that even though old-school Rush was the best, the era represents Rush's ideology of music, to experiment diffirent types of music and art. So I can see why the core fan base disliked this change, but as a youngster lnowing Rush for almost a year, I love all eras of Rush and glad it worked out the way it did. :)

@That70sShowRocker73 I liked it too, wish they had used and cont with the production quality on all these records that PW had, as it was the best sounding. i guess my main complaint is that they did not go back to Terry Brown in 89 for presto when they wanted to go back to a harder sound, which was at its peak with perm waves & MP, who else would be better to go back to? the sound of the 90s was ok but lacking & production tended to lead to a thin steril sound lacking depth & dynamics
